Is it possible with the new connection on the cinema display, to connect your xbox 360 and have a good picture quality?

I don't think so, at least not out of the box. The new LED Cinema Display uses the new Mini DisplayPort, which so far, only the new MacBook, MacBook Pro and MacBook Air have. You'd need an adapter to go from Mini DisplayPort to DVI/VGA/HDMI or whatever, and from what I've found, the available adapters go the other way. (IE, you can use one of the new laptops with a non Mini DisplayPort monitor, but you can't use the new monitor with a non Mini DisplayPort computer. This might change once third party vendors step in.)

Additionally, the new LED display is meant to be used with one of the mac laptops, since it works a a power supply with one of those magnetic plugs. Seems really limiting to me, (but maybe they're trying to make Mini DisplayPorts the standard for their computers down the line?)

As far as I know, Mac laptops (and iMacs, too) don't have any video in. If it's possible, I imagine it would take a pretty serious hardware hack.

Now that I think about it, I don't think any laptop can be used as an external monitor.
