I went to TRU today to find 2 Vision Bundles marked down to only $20 each.
I of course picked them up right away.
Sitting here however I just read on the spine of the box however that the codes for Live and all of that must be redeemed by a certain time. The date is 6/30/08 I believe and obviously that date has long since passed.
Can anyone confirm or deny these codes still working?
I kind of want to know before I tear open the packaging!

i have seen people that said that their codes worked after it expired, but from my experience (rather my brother's), his 3-month card that he bought did not work and he had already thrown the receipt away before knowing it was expired. that was a $20 lesson well learned for both of us.
They have always worked for me. I have used a handful of expired Live cards (including one from the Vision bundle), and none have given me grief.

This.
Those $30 Live Bundles on Amazon that come with 1 Year Live, 200 Points and Bankshot Billiards 2 all expired on 6/30/06... yet here we are, over 2 years later, all the codes worked with no problem!
So I think your code is good.
Of course, now I have 3 12+1 Live cards just collecting dust (My Account is maxed out at the moment... until 2011) but whatever. ;)

I haven't had issues with expired cards either. I don't think Microsoft can even enforce that since I'm sure retail stores have some expired cards floating around as well.

If you try the code and it doesn't work, call MS and tell them about it. I'm pretty sure they can either un-expire the code or give you a new one.
I think someone on here had to do that for one of the really old regular Xbox bundles but I might've dreamt that.
I had a few that didn't work granted they expired in 2006 from my gears of war.

Yup. I still have a Live Bundle from Kmart that is gather dust, though I haven't been playing much Live being busy with school in all and not having my Xbox with me.
