I have been subscribing to gamefly for around a month now. It always seems like they send me whatever is at the absolute bottom of my damn queue.
I had Civ Rev at the 47th spot today, and it just shipped. Same thing happened with Zoids Assault.
Any tips on getting games you want?

i have had gamefly for over a year and learned the lesson, to get a new release game you must sent your game back about a week before it comes out. That way they get it by the weekend.
When the game comes out tuesday, the only game you should have in your q is the new release game. Then as soon as it is out it is shipped. This process has not failed me yet :)

This is how I got Disgaea 3 and Mercs 2 for under $70. I already miss GameFly.

I just keep new releases on my queue and send my game back on Thursday, so they get it by Saturday/Monday and can ship it out on day on time.

exactly, depending on what day they say it is released make sure you send the game back so it gets there a day or two earlier. Make sure the only thing in your q is the game that you want (that is a new release) and there you go, you get the new release!

Having 47 titles in your Q is your problem. It will wait for number one, but after that it will go to the first available. If you have 46 other titles in there you are guaranteed that the first allocation run that it goes through you will get one of those titles.

From what I have seen new released get pushed above medium or high available games. I remember having then new bleach game for DS in my que. It was maybe #7 but it was listed as available now. It got bumped above other games higher in my que that had a medium or high availability. This has happened a few times.

The availbility rankings are only for guidance. Luck comes into play because even low availability games become available and will ship out.
The system will send the highest game in your queue that is available now when it runs. I'm not sure exactly when or how many times a day it runs, but I know I saw at least three runs a day when I was checking it regularly. It is possible that is available now when you add it your queue (or when you look at it) will get sent out to someone else before it gets back around to you then next time the batch runs.
I do know that it will run through once trying to get your top title. Then the next time it will send the first title that it finds available.

I got madden 2006 (for achievements) last week and its Very Low Availability and was first on my list.
You need to cut your list down to everything you want first. My list is about 10 games or so all new. They are going to send you whatever is first available on your list. If you've got 20 games that are old and High availability, which games do you think they would send you first?
I rent 2 games out at a time also. So, I try to get a game I know I'll keep for a while and try to cycle the other one for newer games I want to try.
I signed up for the pizza hut trial this morning and already have Dead Space shipped out to me. What I really want is a copy of Rock Band to export music from and ship back out immediately.

i never put more than 5 games in my queue and that seemed to work well.
