Yes, I know emulators exists. But y'know what? They just aren't the same.
Especially not when there's thrift stores, and a find like this:

Now it's just ebay + Phantasy Star + Wonder Boy III = Win!

I still have the Intellivision AND ColecoVision from when I was a kid. My parents wanted to ebay them, figuring they must be worth 'tons of money' since they're old. Ha!

Dam I don't know any thrift stores in toronto that sell old stuff. I rely on garage sales but these days no sells there games like that anymore.

Speaking of Phantasy Star, I found it in a thrift store with case + manual for a couple bucks. I sold it for $25-30 iirc. If Ebay is any indication then I gave someone a really good deal. Seller's remorse?

$25-30 ain't bad. I know a while ago due to the reprint ports you could pick up a mint/complete Phantasy Star for under $20. Not sure what it's at now though, but you coulda done worse.

With shipping, that seems to be about the going price. I guess I'll just have to keep more eyes on the thrift shops, and not on the Internet. =)
