These are clearance priced, Johnny Overreaction (the seller appears to be buying stock from companies clearing out inventory of something they may believe the expiration dates on; the cards are all past their dates, but those dates are currently meaningless, probably until MS drops Live). The Amazon page lists the original price as $50, and that might be less than what it actually sold for originally. If you're going to feel violated every time you find a deal on CAG, you might want to avoid it...

Most stores will not honor a price match for a clearance item. They will honor a price match for an advertised sale price. Did they have an ad with this price? If so you will have to find it, it has to be current and bring it into Circuit City.

You can turn down the difficulty. Go to options during a game or when you're in the main menu and go to Game options or whatever (for me it was set up to 5 stars out of 5, I think because I put it because the default difficulty for hard on all games)

You can also customize a lot of things

I hear you about getting up to go to work the next day. I just think that the 12 + 1 month Live card is a great deal by itself for $29.99 they retail for $49.99 everywhere and you can find them sometimes for about $39 if you are lucky. You are still saving $20 or $10 for just the Live card.

The rebate thing will not work but the seller warned about that. I have redeemed my 12 month xbox live gold code and that worked perfectly, so you should be fine as well. I have not tested the game and microsoft points but i could care less about those.
