Question about the 360 and getting a HD

So I tried getting the 20 gb that Best Buy has had on sale in Canada, but I'm S.O.L.

One suggestion I got was get an arcade and buy a 20 gig HD from Microsoft.

Do I have to buy the HD from Microsoft directly, or can I get it at a retail store?

How easy are they to insert?

So does it insert into a slot or is it more like a portable HD for a computer, that attaches via a USB cord?

Its more like a snap in connection. You push the button and the drive pops off. That simple. No cables to connect.

If I were you, and in need of a drive, I'd get a bigger one than 20 GB. With the new update allowing you to put games on the HD and not run off the disc, space will fill up quick (well, I'll be using it because my drive is loud).

Well this is what I'm wondering about. I'm not planning on getting Xbox Live, as I mostly want the 360 for RPGs (Lost Odyssey, Star Ocean 4, etc). I'm not going to fill it up with DLC, and I tend to only play one RPG at a time. So I'm wondering what size HD I'll need. A 20 gig HD for $20 seems like it would do.
