Kirby Ultra is 25 bucks on Amazon.ca since before release; it's a Nintendo game that's cheaper than a lot of DS games with more replay value AND coop mode (but you need two copies).

Unless they've had another one of these during the last year, the last time around, they took (at least) $15 off the price. It may have been more for 360 and PS3, but I didn't buy anything for those systems (did get Smash Bros. preorder and Galaxy for $35, though*)

I'm up around the time the deals have gone up, and I guess there's been some OK stuff, but you really kind of think twice when you're not getting more off. I think $10 off is a pretty good deal, but I'll bet I'm not the only one who was around for the last sale that was expecting better.

*Well, in the end, I cancelled Galaxy and got it for the same price elsewhere due to Dell-ays (har har), but that's beside the point.

yes, last year a lot of the deals were 15$ off and well maybe they listened and made some of the sales 15$ off today. I bought fallout 3 (50$) and banjo and kazooie (25$). I thinking about buying banjo for 40$, but at 25$ I will definitely bite. and with the loonie being at 79 cents today, that's paying less than 20$ US for a new release lol.

ps I'm not sure where you're looking at, but the animal crossing game says its 40$, reduced from 50$.

I ordered Banjo-Kazooie, you can't go wrong at that price. Since the Dell warehouse is pretty close to me, there's a good chance I'll have it that Monday it comes out (assuming it ships on time). I think now I might pre-order it at EB as well, just to get the code for the XBLA game.

Rather than offering a pittance off of new games, this event would have been better if they'd managed to get a hold of some slightly-older games (say, a month or two-- things outside of their "new car smell" phase), and offer them for 50% off. Or offer GameCubes for $24 like every other company has seemed to be able to do over time.

i see no reason why that wouldn't work as long as the game is sealed, the same version (SE or regular) and you have the bb receipt.

I just did that with Fallout from Amazon and FS. There were no problems whatsoever, even though the Amazon version didn't have the French manual attached to it.
