Yep, even though I got it for like 45 dollars, I gotta pay the price of waiting...and I don't mind. I got tiger woods, madden, and homework to tie me down.

I'm in Austin and the free shipping got Saint's Row 2 here in 2 days after the day I ordered. Sadly Dead Space got delayed a little and got caught across the weekend but it showed up today (on Monday).

if you used a certain unsecure browser you could have tricked the system into applying that 15 dollar itunes card to your total order instead of being a seperate feature

i didn't mind that because i have a zune....so itunes is only used to fix metatags that are too stubborn in the zune software.

i'm going to just wait this out because i'm sure there will be reports about some sticky bug or whatever and a lot of upset fans being reported. if not, then i got a game for 45 dollars a week or so after it was released. WIN/WIN!

The Saint's Row I got had an expected arival date of 10/23/08 and it got to me on the 16th (with the free basic shipping option). You might just be looking at a big over estimate for shipping time and not some kind of intentional punitive delay.
