View Full Version : Any Arcade Stick Reccomendations? (PC Compatible)

Looking to get into MAME, and have been trying to find a good stick to use.

I'm currently looking at the Hotrod Joystick for $99 (http://www.hanaho.com/Products/HotRodJoystick.php)(2 Player stick)
I've also looked at an X-Arcade one (http://www.xgaming.com/two-player.shtml?__utma=1.3689509392402118000.12248218 99.1224821899.1224821899.1&__utmb=1.1.10.1224821899&__utmc=1&__utmx=-&__utmz=1.1224821899.1.1.utmcsr=google%7Cutmccn=%28 organic%29%7Cutmcmd=organic%7Cutmctr=x-arcade&__utmv=-&__utmk=252493577), but it didn't really impress me too much.

Anybody have any suggestions?
Hoping to find one that is compatible with PC (without having to use controller converter, I hear that causes lag sometimes)

I did a search in the thread, neither one of these showed up
A lot of people were talking about PS2/PS3 arcade sticks, which I'm not interested in :(

the xarcade dual tank stick will work with PS2/PS3 with adaptors, or the PC
I have the single stick I like it for all the arcade compilations on PS2, I need another adaptor piece to make it work for PS3 though.

All 2 player sticks out right now... suck poop.

That's the nicest way I can put it.

The only 2 player stick that is worth a damn is the Sega Astro City 8BP one.

And the very rare (ie you'll never see one let alone find one) A STICK that came out last year.

Just go for 2 seperate sticks. It's cheaper if you get 2 Fighting Stick 3's instead. They're light as well.

Unless you really need to be right next to the other person or can't spare an extra USB port...

Well I might be grabbing a PS3 soon, so I might just grab one of those Hori PS3 sticks as well
Might grab a couple of them, they aren't that expensive :)
