Does anyone want to team up with me so we can get the entire set faster? On Thanksgiving Io and I did this. One of us would find Tom and keep him in the area so another person could also chat with him and get a piece of furniture. It makes things a whole lot faster with more people.

Probably one item per person per encounter. Then we'd have to leave the house and let him teleport to a new location. I doubt it would be per accessory. If it's on a different person it should count as a different outfit.
We can get started as soon as he arrives in my town, which is at 8pm central tomorrow.

Yea- if everyone has to carry their own clothes to each town, that's going to be an extra trip- one to get the furniture back home, and another one to retrive the clothes they had to leave on the ground.

I think tonight- everyone needs to order all the accessories/flowers they can, and have them ready for guests to use. That way, you can use them, drop them, and leave. That way your pockets can be full of furniture when you leave town. Then when everyone gets to the next town, they will be greeted by a new pile of clothes.

I just threw everything onto the ground and counted it. I have:

34 glasses/face things
37 hats
8 helmets
21 umbrellas
These were all ordered from the catalog so there should not be any duplicates.
I also have a couple different hybrids, all of the normal flowers, and a few different patterns (if those work for hats/umbrellas).

It's one item per accessory so that should be enough for everyone who visits, though if you want to bring some of your own things, you can. Would combining a pair of glasses and a hat count as a new outfit if you've already used them to get an item?

And it's understood that we will all share our duplicates so that everyone can have the full set.

That's the kitten. She says she needs to go to a town.

You talk to her and then she'll follow you. Then you go to your town gates and go to the town she says she needs to go to (in this case, Newgrove).

When you go to Newgrove, the kitten reunites with her mom.

The next day you'll get a present in the mail from the kitten.

Just make her follow you and go to the town in question. It'll work.

If you're looking for the kitten, she sometimes hides behind buildings. I know I've found her twice that way. I usually wonder around and listen for the sound her crying makes, which is sort of a "thud" sound.

You have that "glitch", too? In this game, they can pretty much teleport into their house, or maybe even around the village, but I don't think so. In the Gamecube one, they had to walk to their house, and they'd always fall asleep outside of it. I miss that! It was funny seeing them sleep outside.

Doesnt matter, best thing to do is to use your designs as hats, and when you use all 8, edit one of them however you want (even if its just one square) and use it as a totally new hat. Yes, it does work, tested it myself two days ago. Ended up with 35 or so pieces in 2 hours, each one sells for 10000ish, so take out the ones you wanna keep, and come out at like 200k to 1mil depending on how much you can handle before boredom

Anyway, I finally had to stop after about 4 hours of AC playing - probably the most I've ever done in one day. But it saved me a ton of time in chasing Jingle around by myself later. Though I still have to try for that wardrobe - any tips on how to answer the questions for that one?

Funny thing - I spent hours doing the Jingle thing at Janet's and Miranda's and in my town and never got one. Then my son got on, and the second thing he got from Jingle was a wardrobe :lol:. WTF? I checked when I opened my gate. Only BL had his gates open besides me. Almost NOBODY came. Once I close and look at CAG, the only one mentioning opening their gates is me and BL. Yet, I look at the gates open and DaisyDog's town had 4 people! I thought since I was on EST I'd open before Daisy and we could visit other towns after a while, but it wasn't until 8:30 that anybody came at all, and maybe nine or so a few more came.

I am willing to trade/buy with anybody for a Jingle bed.

Aww what the hell. Today sucked.

I threw another axe in and she said it hit her, and asked if i didnt like her. I said i liked her and she said oh she must be having a bad day and then left. Thats three times in a row she didnt even give me an axe back, or even ask what kind of axe i threw in.

Then i see mr beaver on the bridge. So i went home cos i have a few drawers full of scallops. I grab a white scallop and head back over to him. All he does is talk and then jumps in the river. He didnt take the scallop and didnt give me a present!

The only good thing today was i found a new hybrid flower. Check it out.

Both my hybrids grew by trees+flowers. Maybe trees help them appear?

I'd go for the one on the bottom. And I did for my town.

I have an island too, but my existing bridge was in the spot where they're giving you the choice, and I voted to put on in the spot where your existing bridge is. Does that make sense?

It was really annoying to have to stop half-way down the beach while fishing, turn left and walk a distance before I could cross to head back down to the beach.

Yes, you can only go to another persons town by speaking to copper and either opening your gates to wait for people to come or look for open gates if there are any

it seemed like a good time to do it since i don't have any fish or bugs i need to catch for a while. and having that many trees makes fish and bug catching just a little more difficult.

I'm trying, but it says I need more trees. And then I put down trees and it tells me I have too many :cry: (probably just a few acres that need some). Now I'm just throwing flowers everywhere.
