Is it raining in anyone's town? If so, are you willing to open your gates so I can come hunt Rainbow Stags? xP Ironically, my town is called Rain, yet it almost never rains...

Also, I have a question; I recently time-traveled to December 31st, 2035 on my AC game just to see what would happen. When I did, there was a notice put up saying that my Nook 'n' Go would be remodeled on January 1st. When I time-traveled to December 31st, 2035, I went to 11:59 PM. That means that while I was there, there was a New Years celebration. Then, when I restarted AC, I went to set my date back to the correct one, and it was set on January 1st, 2000. I'm guessing 2035 was the latest you could achieve and then it starts over. So, I went ahead and skipped forward another 9 1/2 years to get to the current date. But, my Nook 'n' Go is still in it's Nook-'n'-Go state, and hasn't remodeled. I'm wondering why it hasn't yet, and how I can fix it. Should I just go ahead and skip back to January 1st, 2000 and then skip forward to the current date? Would that fix it? Thanks.

So, my kids finally fired this game back up for the first time since Nintendo wiped our Wii's memoery clean several months back. I didn't have the heart to get back into it after all the work we did (which I will warn you can go up in smoke at a moment's notice with the flaky internal memory).

They started a new town and we're stuck with the lamest of fruits (cherries). I'd like to get the others and maybe do the turnip thing. I'll have to get my new code though since the one in the OP isn't valid any more I suppose. Sigh - we were doing so well there for a while. The nice thing about picking it back up so much later is that all the bugs and fish are completely different since we last played in January.

Since you're a pretty cool guy, (you moderate forums and doesn't afraid of anything) I'll break my months long abscence from AC:CF to give you whatever you want. Maybe your kids completed a furniture set before and now they'd like it again, or you don't feel like paying off your houses again.

The reason I returned here today was to give a proposal: One year anniversary celebrations for ACCF.

Many, many people played Animal Crossing when it came out, but the real time gaming can become very demanding. What happens every AC game for me (and I welcome it) is I have loads of fun paying off my house and chilling around the town/city, eventually it becomes a bore.

So you go back to your town months later, thinking it'll be just like old times, but it's not. The magic is gone. The animals hate you. Your house is paid off. The stalk market is all but worthless, you have long since lost the need for money.

So maybe if every now and then, we rounded up the old players for shennanigans around the town, we could squeeze more playtime out of this game. Strell, lilboo, etc. probably haven't played since March or earlier.

And Io/any other mod, could I be the OP of this thread? (unless someone more active with AC wants to) I know Filler was okay with it when he left AC.

Playing the crap out of Animal Crossing GC lately (with my GF). Ugh, so much fun. I plan on switching to the Wii version when we both move in together. A few questions:

1. You can still have two people in one town correct on one Wii?
2. How is it without the grid system and the rolling globe like area? Seems annoying...
3. Is there any game like AC (where two people can play) that has farming in it as well? I want a game like Harvest Moon, but with a 24 hour clock and the ability to have two farms in the same town (so my gf could have on as well). I'm guessing the answer is NO... but, maybe someone has a clue.

I got the picnic basket a few months ago from Labor Day in another town.

I think Pete might deliver the pile of leaves to me soon.

All this might not matter anyway because the game won't let me go online anymore. I get error code 60000. After looking up that code, the only way people got rid of the error was by deleting their AC save and starting over.:cry:

I think the reason I'm getting the error is because my friend code was assigned to me on my old Wii and that code is tied to my old system. So when I try to connect with my replacement Wii, it can't because it's trying to use wifi settings that came from a different Wii.

I wish that Nintendo made it like the DS version, where if you played your game on a different DS, it would just give you a brand new friend code to go online with. Too bad that's not the case for the Wii version.

Before deleting my whole town, I'll try to finish up Nook's chores with my 4th character to see if it'll give me a friend code and let me go online without getting that 60000 error. If it lets that character go online, then at least I know I can just make a new character instead of starting a new town & my whole museum collection again from scratch.

I'm curious if it'll still let me send/receive mail. I think I'll try mailing some letters to people too.

I think I'm finally getting tired of this game. It's been by far my most played Wii game; in fact, I have 3 unopened games from when I purchased the system back in March. It's just that, after 6 and a half months, it feels like I've done everything there is to do, yet I still can't get my environment ratings above "It's not a passing grade, but it's not a failing grade, either. I'd give it a D+, or a C- on a good day."

Plant a ton of flowers everywhere - too many flowers never hurts your rating, it can only help it. Or if you don't want to have to water a lot every day, then do a combination of having the right amount of trees/flowers per acre:

I think that might be DLC for Europeans. NOA's Animal Crossing DLC page (http://us.wii.com/animalcrossing.jsp) doesn't say anything about getting a Nintendog, but NOE's has info on it:

Time Travelling Consequence

Time Travelling (http://animalcrossing.wikia.com/wiki/Time_Travelling), which is when the player changes the time in Animal Crossing, has an effect on Joan selling her turnips. She will say she is out of stock which is seen as a punishment for if the player attempts to time travel. However, a glitch can be used to fix this. To fix this glitch, the main Wii/DS time must be changed fowards a minute, resynchronizing the game time with the console time. However, to buy Joan's turnips will require waiting a week until she visits again.
Another way to avoid this is by changing the console time. Changing the console's time changes the game's time, but not the other way around so there are no consequences.

Sweets is a pretty hideous furniture set. The chair and table look like cheap FOLD-UP junk.

If you're going to blow a lot of money on a furniture set from Gracie's, I suggest you spend it on Gorgeous or Princess.

So after not playing for a while I fired it up and was really depressed to see how worthless my neighbors are. I spent all of that time working on that town and I come back to find all of my flowers gone and weeds everywhere.

This is so wrong. There's 30 freaking days to cough up 12 pieces, and then the sweetie wants a set, and oh no, they couldn't strew enough around and now the month is over half gone, and and and ....it's just not fair. Oh, and 4 end tables in 17 days. The hell. I might not even get a whole set!

So, all of you who are collecting shroom stuff, please keep your extras to the end of the month, because I'll bet we're all gonna have to trade to be happy-I don't want to start trading now since I get really stressed with visiting and socializing (yeah, really.) but I'll definitely get together with people on December 1 to finish up this set. AC has become very tedious, however, and it seems that all there was to do was mind-numbingly water flowers every few days. I loved the game, but I guess I just got sick of it after 8 months. I'll be putting the money toward a PS3.

Yeah, I was quite surprised to finally toss furniture in my house and see nothing but pink and purple stuff. I have no idea what that has to do with a Harvest theme - I was expecting...I dunno, grain bags, piles of wheat, maybe something utilizing a green tractor? My favorite flower arrangement outside is a bunch of pink and purple tulips, but an entire room is a bit odd....oh yeah, that's right, I have a niece who did her real bedroom in pink and purple Cheshire Cat stripes.

It sounds like you're trying to add the codes out of the game as a Wii console code. You need to add codes in the game itself. Pick the menu option shaped like a heart, and click Register a Friend.

All I was able to get was the flooring, and then Jingle said he couldn't give me him anything else, and I didn't see him anymore after that. Interesting that you were able to get him to give you multiple items.

If you put on a different hat or accessory, he won't recognize you and will give you another gift. After every gift, you have to talk to a villager or go into a building. He will then reset and you'll find him in a different spot.

Also, if you don't find him around town, he will be in a house of someone who is not home (their lights aren't on.)

Just try to enjoy the game and you'll do fine.

The only advice I can give for making money (Bells) is to get the shells from the beach, look in the garbage bin at the Town Hall, dig stuff up from the ground, and do jobs from neighbors (they come up from time to time). You'll usually get furniture from your neighbors, if you don't need it sell it at Tom Nook's. :D

No, you can't dig up a tree sapling and replant it anywhere. (At least I don't think it's possible...) I never tried to plant a coconut, lol. Sounds interesting though.

I played this again last night, and to be honest I was surprised that Neighbors are still up around 10 pm. I'm used to them just sleeping and knocking on their door saying "I'm sleeping right now." This used to happen in the Gamecube version. Guess they changed it. I also encountered the ghost last night for the first time in this game. I was shocked to see him appear, and I'm glad I did. Now I don't have to weed the town!

Hello. I've been playing almost every day for the past year, and I somehow managed to nail a Perfect Town a few months ago. That's been fun since I never expected it to happen, but now I find myself tiring of watering all those flowers I planted in the first place. I want to get rid of at least 100 of them, all in one evening/day, preferably with one person on this board. I'll just run back and forth and dump a tonload of flowers in your town, and it's up to you to rearrange them to your heart's content.

I'll be tossing an awful lot of hybrids in your lucky direction, so you'll end up with really pretty things like purple/blue/orange pansies, pink/orange roses, pink/orange cosmos. I only have one blue rose, one white carnation, and one black cosmos, so you're not getting those. Oh, and you'll get the way-cool pink/purple/black tulips, and also some Jacob's Ladders!

I'm doing this because I can't sell them to Nook - they are too nice, and they ought to go to a good home. This is perfect for a person with a new town who will devote time to it - don't ask me if you're going to abandon your town after playing for two weeks and then let everything die. I can't help it if you do that, but it wouldn't be fair to someone else who would love to have a bunch of hybrids.
