Call of Duty: 4 or WaW

Which one are you guys sticking with. Frankly WaW was the exact same thing as 4 and I am not picking it up. I just want to know whether or not people on here will be switching over or not

Lots of people are going to leave CoD4. I haven't played it in a long time. Only played it for 4 months or so after the game came out. I'll be picking up WaW to play through the campaign and maybe I'll get to the last prestige.

How long can you play with modern weapons for, really? I find older weapons more interesting and fun to use. It got pretty tiring seeing some moron spraying the P-90 like crazy and actually getting kills. Older weapons make doing that a lot harder.

latecomer to COD4, so i'm sticking with that. I'll probably pick up COD5 in January when I can get it used w/ edge and coupon for $40

I've played COD4 since three days into the beta & I then bought it on release day so I'm done.

Voted COD:WaW but only a substitute game until COD6 releases.

Probably neither for me. I'm pretty sick of CoD4 and was having a hard time getting into the beta.

I'll probably try to get into Gears 2, and take a break from CoD until the 6th one comes out (assuming it's good).

i pick cod4. I'm not going to buy cod waw while I wait for cod6. I'll probably just stick to playing cod4, gears of war 2, and resistance 2.

As you can see I havent played COD4 in a while and I thought the Beta was meh. So I guess from the initial results I'll stick with Gears 2 and L4D and just see if COD4 stays up on the top 10

I am going with WaW since I dont even own COD4 anymore. Its a great game but it had its run. Also you should add a 3rd "I dont care option," because a lot of people are kinda in between. COD4 is old but they are not sold on WaW either.

For me its more like a tie because I am really just sick of the gimmick of perks and what not. I cant stand playing any of the core modes. I hope they have more than just 2 hardcore modes to choose from though but I will wait for some type of deal before picking this up.

Zombie mode makes it pretty interesting though.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that's tired of the perks. I was kind of hoping that CoD5 would be more like CoD3 instead of CoD4. I really enjoyed playing CoD3 online more than any other game. Fun times. Especially war.

Voted for WaW. My friends and I still play COD4 a lot, and I told myself that although the beta didn't seem good (or different) enough to warrant switching, I'd get it if my friends did. These friends came over this weekend and tried out the beta and were all sold on it and now plan to get it. So I guess I'll be getting it too.

Call of Duty 4 lasted a long time, which is a testament of its superior craftsmanship. However, while it is indeed an incredible game, I cannot play it anymore. I simply lost interest. Thus, marching towards the new title.

That is, between World at War and Call of Duty 4. Other titles may end up getting more play time.

And after all is said and done, after I've played through Gears2 and had my fill of WaW, I can see myself falling back to COD4, just like I have after so many other games this year.

There's always the new 007 game (Quantum of Solace) which it's running on the COD4 engine with RS Vegas/BIA Hell's Highway type cover system and modern weapons.

COD4 will still be my top game. I love the modern warfare. WW2 is getting VERY tired. Having said that, the beta for WaW is pretty good and I was a little surprised by it. I'll play it some, but not nearly as much as COD4.

I will definitely be picking up CoD: WaW. I put in a LOT of hours into CoD4, because I absolutely loved it.

I still do, but I am just looking for something different. That is what WaW has done for me after maxing out in the beta.
