Cheap, generic shoe stores (preferrably online with in store pick up).

Looking for this particular shoe:

But would rather get a generic pair, rather than shelling out extra cash for the Vans name. Normally I don't mind spending a lot on shoes, but these are very simple and basic, that I don't see the point of paying ~ $40 for them.

Since they are shoes, ideally I would like to find a store that I can order online, and pick them up in store. That way I know they have the ones I am looking for (without me having to drive around looking at various stores to see if they have them), and make sure they are the right size.

I'm not opposed to B&M or online only, though. Mainly want a basic set of white slip on shoes. Some good, reputable shoe store websites would be nice. Tried Payless.com, but they seem to be down for the time being.

You should be able to call your local store and ask if they have your size in stock. Be sure to have the name of the shoe model to give them over the phone.

Ah, thanks. Should have tried again. When I checked the site, the 'site down' notice made it seem like they'd be down for a while.

Ordered those shoes. Best price I've been able to find on white ones, from a reputable store.

eh I recommend that next time you go with Vans. Your getting a much better product with vans than with an off brand. I have those white vans. I hardly wear them lol but I always wear my black ones. My other ones though, ive gone through 3 pairs, have gotten too small :O

Went ahead a purchased the cheap-o payless ones. Normally I do prefer the name brand shoes as I tend to wear my shoes for quite a while, but this style seems so basic and plain that I didn't feel it was worth the extra money. Got them a few days ago, and no complaints so far. We'll see how long they last.
