Is Club Nintendo (JP) giving us the shaft this year?

Every year in the past Club Nintendo has offered an exclusive present to Platinum Members, and they are usually announced at the end of August/early September. I've bought a ton of JP-only Nintendo games since I moved to Japan in 2005 which helped me become a Platinum member of Club Nintendo each year. In the last 2 years I've gotten Tingle's Balloon Fight and the Super Famicom Classic Controller for Wii (which is AWESOME) but I haven't heard a WORD about what this year's free present(s) will be.

Anyone know what's up?

On a semi-related note, I'm tempted to use my points to order Game & Watch Collection 2 for DS, but I'm wondering if it'll end up on sale used for under 2500 yen like all the other Club Nintendo "exclusives".

Has anyone here ordered/played it?

Platinum Members can choose one of the 3, Gold Members can only get the Calendar.

I can't decide between the Wii Wheel and the Hat!
I could actually USE the Wii Wheel, but it might be easy to find one on the secondary market next summer...then again, the hat probably wouldn't even fit me....hmmmm.
