Socom 2 will be 19.99 on the 7th of this month. If this is old news dont mind me. I was just surprised to see this title get cheap. I plan on picking this game up myself now.

that's a great price, I've already gotten two copies since my first one got scratched. If the 2nd one gets scratched, only 20 bucks more for the most popular online game on any console.

Halo 1 will be 19.99 soon enough, don't you worry. It's also been 19.99 at both Best Buy and Circuit City on a number of occasions during the past few months. That's 14.99 with the gamer's gift card.

Trust me IMO your not really missing that much. Sure it's a pretty fun game but its so hyped up that when you play it you'll get bored of it quite quickly. The levels are extrememly monotonous and linear. Way over rated if you asked me. I think that when the Xbox came out, isnce it had no true definitive titles coming out at the beginning that they hyped up Halo to astronomical proportions by paying off some magazine type guys.

How is SOCOM II anyway? I've had the PS2 network adapter for well over a year but I've pretty much only used it for sports game roster updates. I play Rainbow 6 Raven Shield on PC a lot, is SOCOM II better or worse?

Socom II is pretty fun if you can find a legit game. I don't know if next weeks level updates will fix all the glitches the game has had the past year. I hope so because the cheating is almost as bad as counter strike.

Seriously dude while Halo can be fun I suppose it can be monotonous and some of the graphics are UGLY as hell, like texturewise for the enemies I suppose. Textures are just kinda blah in some areas.
