Yeah I think they're doing midnights for FS in Ontario and west onward, 'cause management was getting excited about it.

Also good luck with the azumangaman, the best way to check it is the Silver PS2s, since they'll be plenty of PS3s and PSPs.

Also remember, the $50 has some fine print, only 5 will be given out a day if the item is not in stock, also if they're in the back, it doesn't count (hence the in-store), there's added fine print on there, someone correct me if they have the flyer on hand.

FutureShop's website does make it confusing though. I was actually just checking out their online flyer a few minutes ago. Punched in my Burnaby postal code, and it gives me the nice 'correction notice' above the flyer, saying the stores will not be open at midnight, but rather 8am. It would make sense to only show that for Quebec and Sudbury, and not everyone, if they're the only exceptions to the midnight launch.

Every time I have tried to price match or debate TRU about any sort of customer policy, I always get the shaft as they weasel and come up with the most inane excuses. I highly doubt they will be handing out any of those $50 cards regardless of how many of the items they do or do not have in stock.

You'll have a hard time finding a place that'll actually run out of stock, everyone's getting crates of Sony stuff.

That was my #1 recommended TV while working at Visions (see: Western Canadian big box store, on level with FS/BB) -- abolutely great bargain, at that price it's a steal. Highly recommended!
