Anybody know where I can get a TI-83 plus for cheap? I need one after the labor day weekend for school, so I'm looking for a non-online deal.

yea i just got mine from target... it comes with a free gtx cd player. Not such a good cd player but supports cd-rw!

Anyone else extremely pissed at TI for not dropping the price of that damn calculator in the past four-five years? Technology has increased like crazy and yet the TI-83 cost the same that it did when i wanted it in 11th grade. Bastards. Rant complete.

heh. I remember when i first looked in to getting one when i was in 4th grade and saw it was like 100...9th grade now

Exactly. The total lack of competition is also helping them greed up the price.

someone needs to go and make a generic graphing calc....sell it for 75 and make crap loads of money..

i guess that is not such a good deal

I have a barely used TI86 to trade if you're interested. Although the labor day weekend is already gone :P
