I've been trying to sell off my B.C. Rich Ironbird for a while now, but have no luck as of yet. It's up on craigslist right now, and I'm thinking about putting an ad up in the local Yankee Flyer. Any other suggestions (no eBay, I don't want to try to ship this mofo)?

Do you have any local Music Stores? I have one in my area that wouldn't buy my Les Paul, but was nice enough to put it on display and sell it on consignment.

I think guitar center offer that kind of service. you can call and ask them if there is one near you. I've been trying to sell my Fender Strat. for awhile too. Might bring it there to ask them to sell it for me.
