[Canada - Vancouver] EA Canada Focus Tests

Just a heads up to the Vancouverites who don't know of the program yet:

Fill out that form. Each week you'll get an email from EA about what focus tests they're doing and at what times. You pick the times you're available and fill out a short survey. If they want you for that time and game, you'll get a follow-up email. Focus tests are about 3 hours. You are provided with pizza and pop. You receive 1 free EA game of your choice as compensation. 99% of them happen as EA's Burnaby campus. I remember seeing one that was at their downtown Vancouver campus.

I subscribed to their email thing and get an email everytime they do this focus test. Some reason I never signed up for it. Firestorm or anyone in Vancouver ever been to one of these?

I went to one about a month ago. It's a nice place. Played NFS Undercover multiplayer and gave them feedback on it. Got pizza, talked about games, and then got a free copy of NHL09 at the end. If you're free during one of the times, I'd do it. It's a fun experience and you get a free game out of it. With Dead Space out and Mirrors Edge and Left 4 Dead around the corner, it's definitely worth your while!Hopefully they do this in Toronto (do they? It's 2AM I'm just posting quickly before bed) 'cause I signed up.Well if you're willing to fly to Vancouver they do! Is there even an EA studio in Toronto?

Nah, there's a Rockstar studio a few hours out though, man Toronto sucks!

The games can get a little boring: I played an early version of NFS Undercover where we had to analyze the analog sensitivity so it was just driving around aimlessly with lousy collision detection and restarting every so often due to freezes. Free pizza and game is good though. They don't let you get Crysis or The Orange Box though.
