watch for deals with Dell. You'll have to keep a close eye to the message boards here but Dell has had elites as cheap as 300 I think. For me that's a great deal but it all depends on what you call a good deal.

You'll probably be seeing lots of bundles and deals for the next 4 or 5 weeks as Holiday shopping season starts.

Did MS ever come up w/ a way to tie XBLA / DLC to a different console, or do you still have to log into LIVE every single time you want to play a game you bought if it's not on the same console you originally bought it on?

Microsoft has a tool you can use on the xbox website that allows you to resign your downloads to a different console. You can only do it once a year I think.

it looks like you don't need to do anything on the original which is important since i'm sure most of the people doing this do it because their old one died. is that the case?

so on ebay i can get new Elite bundle, and 3 year warrenty for $350 after rebates
