What do you think the chances are of EB having another PS3 deal this December like they had last December?
If I recall correctly, it was something along the lines of "Trade 8, get $200 off a PS3"
As it stands, I plan on gameflipping my way to a PS3-- this would just make it a heck of a lot easier. =)

There are actually people who buy them at full MSRP in holiday shopping seasons. I doubt they will run any promo in December. Your better bet is prolly boxing week sale.
Just my thought...

40GB is $369.99 at Blockbuster with Blu-Ray Remote. It's $400 at Rogers with extras (Singstar + Jumper?)

Sooo... I should use all my EB Credit to buy cheap games that trade-in well at Blockbuster? (Which, when I think of it, is a plan of sorts...)

Be careful there. Cheap games (I assume used ones) will only give you much weaker TIV in BBV. I doubt there is a case EB's used game goes for higher TIV in BBV. If that exists, it would be an ultimate hoarders paradise. Buying cheap BBV used games to trade in at EB, then buy some other used games at EB and do vice-versa. Repeat it and you profit continues.
I suggest you to find a trade counter part to swap EB credit to BBV credit.

Is the Trade in Credit at BBV Tax free? You will end up saving more money buying the PS3 at EB with trade in credit because it is Tax Free when you use it on the PS3.

Yeah good point. You pay tax when you buy with TIV in BBV.
