HMV Price Matching?

Just had one quick question: Does HMV (brick and mortar stores) price match other brick and mortar stores?

I used to work at HMV, and it's possible... but it's just a price match, they wont give you a discount like FS or BB. The only catch is that the store you are wanting to match with will actually have to have the item in stock or they wont give you the same price. When I was there they would make us call places just to make sure they had it in stock or we wouldn't match the price. It also wont work for one day deals... and I'm not 100% sure if they'd do it with video games. I'd say YMMV.

Okay, that gives me some sort of hope. The reason I ask is because I have a gift certificate to HMV and I want to get GH3 for the price that Rogers Video has it at (currently $60, where HMV has it for $90 on their site). I'll give my local store a call then. Thanks for the help!

how come you just don't buy it from rogers ? They are a reputable company and HMV wont even give you the 10% (of the difference) discount.
