I think it would be a good idea to have a sticky thread rating the postage policy of the various gaming websites. I really need to blow off some steam at those sites who take a pre-order months in advance and then can't even be bothered to post the game out the day it comes into their possession. YOU SUCK ASS 'THE HUT!!!'
Oh, but I have had good dealings with Shopto and Play. How about everyone else?

Well I'm hoping the postman shows up with my preorder of banjo kazooie nuts and bolts today or else I will never preorder from Gamestation online again. They only dispatched it yesterday....

GAME have been good for me lately, got Fallout 3 a day before release. Haven't ordered from Gameplay in a while, but I remember getting games a day early from there as well.
Yeah, The Hut really sucks when it comes to delivery times... only received Dead Space today (shipped 31/10), Fallout 3 and Fable 2 on Tuesday (both shipped 30/10), but well, I saved like £5 on each so I don't mind.
Game usually arrives on release day, or the day after release. Play.com are usually the day after release and Amazon was also release day or after that (being from Portugal I stopped ordering from them regularly about 1 year ago).
Only ordered one game from Shopto and it took 5 days to arrive, wasn't a preorder.
(I think UK delivery times will be 1 day less than it takes to arrive here)

I hear HMV also sucks. I am still waiting on Gears of War 2 that I preordered (and recommended on this site :roll:), but I may let them off as I genuinely believe it has been lost in the post. However, I have to wait 14 days before even contacting them about it :shock: Gears of War 3 will be out by then!!!

HMV is rubbish. It took them 5 days to get Fable 2 to me, and even things that weren't pre-orders take forever. Their free shipping is usually second class postage at best, and the price you pay for next day is ridiculous.

I've consistently been getting shipments from GAME on the day before release, never had a problem with them.

No complaints about Shopto either. Received Civ Revolutions the day of release.
