OK, so i got motorstorm for free when I got my PS3. I havent opened the game at all yet and want to get a good deal. I originally got it from Zellers, so can I go to Zellers, say I got it as a gift and hopefully get credit?
Any other options that can get me the $30?

If it says "not for resale" on it, I don't think you can take it back to the retail store. Better off trading it or selling it.

Your question really belong to RFD... They might have a better answer, even though most of them would be fraud related.
If tivs.ca is up-to-date, FS gives $22.80. This is probably the best deal "legally" you can get with it.

Goozex, Chasing the Chuck Wagon, Craigstlist, Ebay. You have options, though if $30 is your heart's desire, you may need to learn to accept dissapointment in your life.

Sorry. gamer602, I think me and you disagree about this issue of fraud. I mean the game's worth is 30 dollars and I got it for free from the store. So they were, in a sense, giving me 30 dollars. So what I did was exchange it for something else....I returned the game at the exact same store so the money is going to that store as well. What is wrong with that>?

It's not really whether or not you feel this should be considered fraud... the fact is that it is fraud. Sure the store is still going to be getting the money when they sell the game, but the fact is that you are passing along false information to the company in order to benefit yourself financially. There really is no way that the store can tell if you're lying about whether or not you had lost the receipt (or said it was a gift... depending on what you told them), it still in theory is fraud. I really don't care what you do or don't do, but I'm just stating this for the hell of it.
