One game I will most likely purchase without the wait is GTA San Andreas. If the first two are any indications on how long I will be playing this game alone.....I can withstand the wait for the price drop. Will also be picking up Socom II, Jak II and Ratchet and Clank II this coming week with the new price drops. Fable looks awesome but I will wait....waited all this time for KOTOR. :)

Every Wednesday I see Fry's ads all the time on reduced video game prices. This does not mean the game sucks. I've seen some damn good games listed, my favorite of which was Fight Night 2004.

I could not get free shipping when I ordered online so around 8:40 I called and gave the sku # of fable to the order rep and she gave me the free shipping over the phone. I would definitely call and see if the price is still $30.99. She said several people were calling because they could not get the free shipping online.

I told a friend of mine (who was considering Fable) about this deal, and he called Outpost about it. He said that a CSR offered to give him Fable for the $31 price, and told him that the reason it was ringing up at $50 was because the deal didn't begin until Tuesday 9/7. My friend didn't order yet, however, but would probably order on 9/7 (today). He needed to check his credit card first, and seeing as though he's overcharged on it before, that was a good move. Hahaha. :)

Already almost 2AM here on the west coast and been the 7th already for several hours on the other coasts and deal still not working.

A shame, I was still debating whether or not to do the Gamestop trade-in deal, this was something so nice to pass up. Problem is if you go with ground it'll be at least a week before it gets to you, and I've been wanting to play it at launch. Wonder if the store will have it this cheap... :)

Same here, I held off from buying Knights of the Old Republic because I had too many games I've bought through CAG for cheap. I finally picked it up when Best Buy had it on sale for $14.99. Still not sure when I'll be able to play it because I still have too many games unopened. I think I'm going to have to give some of them away as birthday/christmas gifts or I'll never play through all of them.

Was able to get them to credit me the difference. They said they'd change the order, but it'd put me at the end of the backorder list. so when it ships, they'll hit me for the full $60ish, then credit me $25. :)
