The worker behind the desk took out a razor blade and opened up everything game

they said they have to open up all the games to make sure the games are still in the boxes and then they reseal them

first time i ever saw a store open up games on a return

What does them opening up your returns have anything to do with them selling "open games as new?"

They opened up games you were returning to ensure that the discs were intact. For all you know, they resealed the games, or do something else with them internally.

As a matter of fact a Perfect Dark Zero collectors edition I bought from there had some funky shrink wrapping.
