I tried searching but didn't see anything come up. So, I figured some people would be interested, if they didn't already catch the story.

Well I've never heard of this so thanks for posting the link. I think it would be cool to have a subscription to sports games since they come out with a new one every year and I always end up paying out the nose for them lol. I hope this rumor turns out to be true in some sort of way.

If I had a 33% discount on EA Sports titles, I'd be much more inclined to buy Madden and NHL more often. Too bad they don't have a pro baseball game any more.

$40, hrm.
Maybe I'd go back to every other year for madden.

eh since during the season my football hunger is cured I usually wait until the season is done and buy last year's version cheap as hell and play that. Im thinking about doing that for madden 09 since I havn't played madden on ps3 yet and I heard it runs alot better than last year's.

If they do regular updates with injuries (and trades, etc.), I know their would be people who would pay for this.

I usually only buy sports titles once they reach the .99 mark at Gamestop and are in their junk bin. If for nothing, the games are good for replacement cases for games you buy there without proper cases.
Otherwise, I only play sports games when I go up my one buddies house. We usually sit there and play Madden or something from the WWE for 4-5 hours, then I come home and play the games I normally play(GTA, LBP, etc).
But I know this would be a good thing for MANY people who are into these kind of games.

That's pretty easy
slap in 1 Football Game(Pro or College), 1 Basketball Game (Pro or College), 1 Baseball Game, and 1 Other Game of your choosing (Nascar, Hockey, Golf, other) for $180-200. Maybe even throw in shipping the game a week early and additional beta testing n' shit
