Found this on Play.com's Deals of the Week.
Assassin's Creed (http://www.play.com/Games/Xbox360/4-/3509871/Assassin-Creed/Product.html) :360: £9.99.
Then I had a quick browse in the PS3 section. You can get it for the same price there too, if you don't mind the ugly yellow "PLATINUM" border ruining your box art.

The normal one is on "PlayTrade" for "from £8.50" but I wouldn't touch PlayTrade with a bargepole.
In my opinion AC is a must-play for everyone so if you somehow have enough money left over from this year's game rush then I'd suggest picking it up.
