First off, let me say that I tried calling Amazon. The lady I spoke with couldn't understand what I was trying to ask, so I got no where. So I wanted to see if someone had any similar experiences.
Basically, I want to order Jeff Dunham Three Disk Blu Ray Amazon Exclusive
http://www.amazon.com/Jeff-Dunham-Three-Disc-Collection-Amazon-com/dp/B001DYQINK/ref=sr_tr_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1227064920&sr=8-1
However, one of the movies in the bundle "arguing with myself" has a separate page, with a release date of Feb 3rd, 2009.
http://www.amazon.com/Jeff-Dunham-Arguing-Myself-Blu-ray/dp/B001KEGR8Y/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1227066017&sr=1-4
here's where my question comes in.
The have the bundle listed as in-stock, which includes the disk in question. If I order the set today, should I receive all three movies by my shipping choice? Or would I have to wait for Feb 3rd? How does Amazon handle this
The lady I spoke to kept saying something about I had to order in the next 20 hours for 1 day shipping. She totally didn't understand my question.
I know it's a long shot, but figured I would ask to see if anyone had anything similar

whole thing looks pretty wack.
I would guess that if they didn't think they had the package that they would hold onto it till the 3rd one is released...
but then you'd know that very soon or immediately after placing your order.
I would say do it... worst case is that you'd have to wait, and then you can just cancel it.

Yeah, that whole situation seems odd. I am not really familiar with the movies, but I would say that, if Amazon is saying that they have the 3-pack in-stock, they have it in-stock. Maybe, the one that is listed by itself will be released on its own later? I really have no clue, but I do know that Amazon wouldn't list the 3-pack if they didn't actually have all three movies.
Now, assuming that Amazon did screw up, and the one movie is not available, I think it's potentially a toss-up when they ship, if you chose the cheapest option and wanted them all shipped together. I've had situations where I had to wait for every item to be available. Then, I placed an HD-DVD order last week, and they have actually shipped out the 7 movies in four different shipment. No lie.

Odds are in-stock means in-stock. Amazon has fucked up quite a few things for me but I've NEVER seen them say they have something that they don't, and I purchase several thousand dollars worth of stuff there a year. With their ever-increaingly bad CS and the removal of both the 30% off of all Blu-Rays and the post order price-guarantee, that is going down quite a bit. That said, I've still spent over $100 there this week already... Anyway, I would say, if you order the three pack, you get it as soon as your shipping allows and if you order the single movie, you get it in february.

That's what I figured, but I don't understand why I just can't get a straight answer from Amazon. I even tried emailing them in detail. I finally received an email back today, two days later, and they were still confused, so i don't know what to do
>From the content of your E-mail message, I understand that you are trying to place the orders with the following items:
-- Jeff Dunham: Three-Disc Collection (Arguing with Myself, Spark of Insanity, Very Special Christmas Special) - Amazon.com Exclusive [Blu-ray]
-- Jeff Dunham: Arguing with Myself [Blu-ray] (2005)
Please note that this item "Jeff Dunham: Arguing with Myself [Blu-ray] (2005)" not yet released." According to the latest information which we've received, this item is scheduled for release in February 03, 2009.
Also note that this item "Jeff Dunham: Arguing with Myself [Blu-ray] (2005)" is listed as to be released on February 03, 2009 that means it usually takes up to that much time to receive the item from our suppliers, package the item, and prepare it for shipment. Occasionally, it can take longer.
While placing your order, if you select "group my items into as few shipments as possible" option, this can extend the estimated ship date for your order until all the items in your order become available.
By this point of time, I request you place your order and select the shipping option as "Ship items as they become available". By doing this, we will be able to ship, all the items which are instock, as soon as possible.
Here's the equation we use to calculate the total shipping cost:
(Highest Applicable Per Shipment Cost) +
(Number of Items or Pounds x Per Item Cost) = Total Shipping Fee
The total cost of your order, including shipping and any applicable taxes or giftwrap charges, appears on the final page of the order form, before you submit your order. This allows us to take into account the cost of the shipping method you chose, as well as any gift certificate credit or other discounts, before displaying the amount you will be charged.
Please note that you may still make changes to your order at this point, as we do not receive it until you press the "Place your order" button.
For future reference, the subtotal of the items in your shopping cart is displayed on the shopping cart page. Our shipping rates and options may be found by clicking the "Help" link at the top of our web site--or you may wish to bookmark this URL:

At this point, I think I might as well just order the two that I know are out The Chirstmas one and Spark of Insanity from the DD sale, for 30.28 shipped, and order the last one in Feb when it comes out. The two at DD are 20.14 and 20.24, so I'm assuming the third will be around there when it's released. So essentially I can get the items for cheaper then Amazon. The only thing that sucks is the shipping time, since I have Prime with Amazon

Which says the movie was due out on Nov 18th, but was postponed to Feb 3rd, so I'm beginning to think that there's no way Amazon has the third movie right now
