I remember when $100 was a good deal for this. If I didn't already have it, I would jump on this. A must for any Python fan. People who don't like Monty Python should not buy it for themselves, and should try to refrain from comment in this thread.

This one is getting cheaper because there's a new version of basically the same thing coming out soon.

The new one is $90, and comes with the additional pointlessly-redundant "personal best" DVDs, which have the same content regurgitated on them as the complete season discs, just in order of the cast's favorite scenes.

The 16-ton set is definitely more than anyone needs for Flying Circus Goodness. I bought mine years ago and I'm on possibly the 4th disc so far...

Man, I had no idea there was a new set. Given the choice between $90 for the new set (which I just did a little research on), which, as Kerig stated, contains the same content as the original, plus the "Personal Best" dvds (which is the same content in a different order), plus a few documentaries, and the 16-ton set for $40, I'd go with the 16-ton set (if I hadn't bought it years ago for much more).
