Starting today two new deals are in effect at Blockbuster/Gamerush stores until Oct the 11th.
The first is a deal that gives you an additional 5 dollars in credit per trade if you trade in any number of games from 3 to 10. Of course that's in addition to the credit you would normally recieve.
The other deal states that if you trade in two games you get the credit for the two games and also get 20 dollars off the price of a new game when you pre-order it. In other words, trade in two games worth 5 dollars a pop, and you have 10 dollars in credit as well as 20 dollars off the price of "Game X" when you pre-order it. That would be "Game X" fully purchased and paid for at about 20 dollars plus tax.

Or you could take in 2 games worth $15 each and do an even trade for a new pre order.

These aren't up as the current deals on gamerush.com yet so I wonder if all stores have started?
all of the local blockbusters have signs up about trading games in but all of them say they are not getting gamerush in them. very odd.
I think I'll call and see if they will do this though.

I always did just one per day with the coupon, mainly because I never had more than 1 at a time. Used 3 coupons total, and used $5 CC games and got:
Fable - $5.00 out of pocket
Paper Mario 2 - $1.00 out of pocket
Halo 2 - $0.77 out of pocket (used gift card I had)
So, add $10 to those if you want "true" cost to cover the 2 $5 games.
Not a bad deal at all, but I'm out of CC games now. Bah!

I don't think you need a coupon anymore. It's the advertised deal on gamerush.com and there's no coupon to print.

I got Halo 2, Mortal Kombat, and Killzone for $14 out of pocket today. I say that I probably paid about $50 in real money for them all though...not to mention that they're all paid off and I still have about $20 credit left from that.

On the other Gamerush thread someone posted that the pre-order deal didn't apply to games released after the coupon expires. I just got back from the one down the street from and they knew nothing about the pre order deal.

I doubt they'd let ya combine offers like that but hey, it doesn't hurt to try...
