Outpost.com has the preorder of Phantasy Star Online Episode 1 & II Plus for GameCube avail for preorder for $22.99. I'm sure shipping will kill this deal, but here it is just in case:

Might be worth putting this into the "official" Outpost deals thread that has started.

I thought the normal price for this was going to be $20.

Very good deal on a very good game (If you never played the DC ones like me). Thanks for the deal--I'll be sure to pick this one up to go with my original copy :)

"Includes the original PSO for Dreamcast"
Outpost may want to rephrase that, some guy might think it comes with the DC game.

This just makes me wonder how much it will be at Fry's when it comes out. Too bad I'm not in CA anymore :(

Anyone know when it is going to be out? It doesn't say on the site. Gamespot and EB had it for late August, now, nothing. Is it cancelled? Hope not, because this sounds like an awesome multiplayer game.

I've been wondering that myself. I'll still get it nonetheless, since I missed it the first time around. Thanks NFG!

How's this different from the one they released like 2 years ago?

The main thing is that all the previously online only material will be playable offline too. No downloading required. They may have other surprises, but that is the only thing we know for sure. Hopefully, you'll be able to play the whole thing offline (previous version required you to play through a level online before it became available offline), because, not only does the GC adapter suck, but there that is that ridiculous monthly fee for a game that does not require extensive site maintenance. If all goes well, it will give those of us who can't (or won't) go online a chance for a good multiplayer offline game, which has been quite scarce lately. Here's to hoping anyway.

Wasn't it like the ONLY online game for GCN?

You've got that backwards... and it makes total sense to me.

There's this game and PSO III. I think those two are the only online games for the GC.

Did they also make sure to remove the ISO loading exploit to prevent GCN piracy?
