In short: absolutely, especially for $5. It's an amazing experience even compared to the original game, the ability to use 360 controllers as secondary rumble sources and 5.1 surround sound alone made the experience far more engrossing. If you ever have some casual friends that don't play many videogames over at your place, stick 3 extra Xbox 360 controllers into the cushions of your couch and have them watch or play Rez. It's a surprisingly fun activity :D

The fact that it runs in HD at 60FPS (DC version was 30FPS while PS2 was 60 but at a lower resolution) is just icing on the cake.

I agree completely. I was going to buy a few things, but now I can't/won't. Some of these companies could have used the sales from us Silver members. Unfortunately they won't get them.

I just reverted back to Silver this week and am not going to resub. I hate having to pay another fee to unlock online multiplayer features in my $60 games. Basically, no 360 game that you purchase has online multiplayer standard in it. You have to actually pay extra to unlock that feature by purchasing Live Gold. It's reminiscent of DLC where the material is actually in the games already but you need to buy the key for it on the marketplace to access it. Lame.

Live became free on the PC because PC gamers laughed at Microsoft and refused to pay for it. Xbox gamers have to pay. Meanwhile, PS3 guys don't have to worry about this sort of stuff, everyone is equal and multiplayer in games is free to all. And game demos are immediately available to everyone, as are sales, etc. There is no segregation or caste system.

But I digress...

The DLC is worth it, if you are going to play the game alot. If you're not going to play it that often, you may just want to skip it. I personally can't go back to playing Crackdown without the pack now, but I don't play it that much anymore, so it's 50-50.

Anyway, I'll probably be in for Catan and Arkadian Warriors. I wish I waited on buying the CC theme, just bought it about 3 days ago.

For anyone that doesn't have A.H., it's well worth the 250 points once you get into it, and also Rez HD is more then worth the 500.

I am hoping it is only waiting as other people are in the queue before me. I have never bought any titles from within the World Tour game. If I do ever purchase a subscription again I'm just going to get a couple of 1 month cards. I just can not justify paying for a 12 month ever again. I had it for a year and the only played online for maybe a total of 2 months, shortly after Halo 3 came out and never touched online again. Except for a couple of GTAIV matches one night. I guess I need more friends.

The 1 months give you an actual month of gold subscription. The 48 hour trials keep you on a silver membership, but give you the ability to play games online. And nothing else.

Did you read my rant I posted earlier in this thread? I'm the same way. I'm just going to buy by the month or use trials if a game comes down the pipe I want to try out. I bought a year when Gears came out and in that year I only played Gears and Halo 3 online, possibly 3 weeks total out of a year. It isn't worth it for a singleplayer gamer like me, but it would be nice to have the service FREE like the Playstation 3's...since I can try out my $60 games for free online with no worries.

Funny thing is, Live is free on the PC. People refused to pay it until Microsoft had no choice but to make it free, and refund the subscribers. Hilarious. I think that's how it should be on the 360. Have a subscription for people that want the extra deals and frills, but basic online play should be free for everyone. It only makes sense that you should be able to play your games online without unlocking that feature with another fee, I think.

Well, just bought Arkadian Warriors, Golf: Tee it Up!, Catan, and Rez HD (blah, for the second time...the half-off price trick + RRoD don't play so well together). If anyone wants to play some Live on 'em, that'd be awesome.

Funny thing is, Live is free on the PC. People refused to pay it until Microsoft had no choice but to make it free, and refund the subscribers. Hilarious. I think that's how it should be on the 360. Have a subscription for people that want the extra deals and frills, but basic online play should be free for everyone. It only makes sense that you should be able to play your games online without unlocking that feature with another fee, I think.

I don't know if that's what did it, as many people probably use Live on both PC and 360. They are probably getting their butt kicked by Steam and needed to do that to keep the brand viable. The new client still isn't standalone, and isn't much of an improvement. They have a long way to go, but at least my Son's silver account is gold on PC.

I just bought the Cattle Crashers theme for 180. It looks really nice and I really like the cool little friends background things. I was hesitant but gave in since the NXE destroyed my custom wallpaper. The worst theme I saw on that site with the previews was that RPG with the huge freakin game name on your screen. Who would buy that?

Also grabbed the full version of the game and loving it even though it was 1200 points. Most of us didn't pay retail for our points anyway so it's not that bad.

Assault Heroes for 250 is such a bargain! Great top down shooter! I also picked up Rez HD. I never got it before since I still had my PS2 version, but for 500 points, I couldn't resist.

I kind of liked the demos for Brain Challenge, Golf, and Catan, now I'm just debating if those points are better spent elsewhere since I am running low now.

It's not the same for packs, which kind of stinks. Now I understand the disclaimer. Make sure you know what packs you've bought and what songs they include, or you could easily re-buy the same individual song.

I picked up the Golf game and spent some time with it last night. It's kind of a poor man's Hot Shots Golf. No where near as good but definitely worth the 6 bucks. I think the DLC added desert course is also on sale (it is 320 points). I got it as well and fuck is it crazy hard. They went against having normal type course and just went nuts with outlandish holes which is pretty cool and very challenging.

I tried the demos of the others ones on sale. already had the Crackdown DLC from way back and have yet to even really use it.

Don't care about Catan. Played the Rez demo once again and still don't give a shit about that game. I just don't get the hype. Not even worth the 6 bucks to me.
