I just picked up Left 4 Dead the other day and I saw that it's going to be $10 cheaper this weekend. If I take the receipt to them, do you think they will give me $10 back?
UPDATE
So, i stopped in and talked to the guy and he had no problem adjusting it for me. He told me that all he could really do was give me store credit, and that was fine because I was picking up Armored Core For Answer for $20.

Don't open it and ask. If they say no, return it then buy it back.

its already open, i just wonder if i take the receipt in if they will "return" it and then resell it cheaper, netting me the money towards something else

Nope. They are one of the only retailers not to guarantee prices atleast for 30 days. Its hard buying anything from Gamestop because of this.

Was it less than a week ago? If so, buy it again for $49.99 then return it with your old receipt which you paid $59.99.
Err, that's technically illegal? I think anyways. But not a bad plan.
Its not illegal and it's your best bet.

They aren't supposed to, but it really depends about the person working. Just be very nice and polite when asking.
