I need help with a plan because I want to switch from 360 to ps3. Please help me

I know some people may think I am crazy but I have my reasons for switching.
MY xbox just got the red ring of death for the first time and I have the best buy 2 year extended warranty for the xbox. So im just gonna swap it in for a new one which is what some of my friends did at best buy. Then i am planning to take that new 360 and change it for store credit which im not sure how much that is but i believe its $250 (i have a xbox pro). Then Im planning on selling all the games I have but Im really not sure about this part because I do not know how much I will get if I were to trade all the games into eb games so can someone give an idea of the prices or how they work. Heres the list of games...............

Call of duty 4
Call of duty 3 (gold edition with the maps never used)
Grand theft auto 4
Assasins creed
fifa soccer 08
Warriors Orochi
Naruto Rise of a ninja
Guitar hero 3
Guitar hero 2
Guitar hero Aerosmith
Fear Files

I can also probably manage to sell of my wireless adapter to a friend and a controller 0.o

First, I think that you will have trouble trading the console back for store credit, but its worth a try.

Second, the games in trade to GS will not give you that much credit. I would guess $100-$125 max. And that's with an Edge card AND the layered bonus trade credits that they have going on right now. The only titles that you have that will realistically give you more than $10 in credit are CoD 4 and GTA 4. The guitar hero games won't get much...not with the prices on them for Black Friday.

I think that your nuts wanting to go to a PS3, but hey, the Blu-Ray player would be nice. Good luck.

[Edit]. FIFA 08 is newer, but with most sports games probably won't get you that much. The wireless adapters are still $100 new, you might get decent trade credit for that, if your friend is poor.

I found out that trading my 360 i will get $400 because thats what i payed for it back then. I love xbox 360 and it has given me alot of entertainment
but the reason I am switching is just it fits my needs. Xbox has a huge variety of games but I really dont buy games like fable 2 and gears of war and halo which are xbox exclusives. It just suits me better. I understand both systems its just my choice and thanks for the help. Things should work out well now:bouncy::bouncy::bouncy:
