Not too excited, but I'll be watching on Monday regardless. Gamestop usually has the worst gaming deals around. It's hilarious to see used titles costing more than new ones. Also, Gamestop prices are more than you can find elsewhere. I can easily find new games cheaper than their used prices typically. I was shopping their online store today and searching for B2G1 free games and the $30-50 range is filled titles I've bought for less than $20 recently, and that doesn't include Black Friday.

It's ironic that a game centric store has worse deals than other places. Still, they're okay for a few things, and have the rare deal worth entering their website or cramped stores.

Anyone who ordered cyber Monday deals from Gamestop make sure to check that your credit card was charged correctly. I ordered the Nyko charge base for the xbox 360 just after midnight (EST) for $14.99 and received an email confirmation showing my total with tax and shipping to be $19.06. Just looked at my credit card and found that I was charged $29.66. It appears that they bumped up the price later in the day and charged me the increased amount. I'm on hold now waiting for customer support to see about getting this fixed.

Update: 20 minutes on hold and another 20 minutes chatting (had to forward them the email confirmation I had with the correct price) and they are supposed to be refunding the difference.

I just received my order today, which was supposed to have (2) 'new' copies of Frontlines in it. Well, one copy was fine. Brand new, still sealed. The other F'in copy was one of their gutted ones, not shrinkwrapped and with a sticker on the case. The disc inside looked as it had been raked across a counter as it had lots of heavy scratches in it. Plus it also had no less than a dozen fingerprints on the disc. This is Gamestops idea of new? It was actually in much worse condition than most of their used games...what a F'in joke. It reminds me of the time I bought a pair of new shoes from Eastbay.com and they sent me a heavily used pair of shoes...then the bastards wanted me to pay return shipping. You can guess what I told them.

Anyway, I called Gamestop's 800# and supposedly they are going to send me another copy. Although the customer service rep was not very friendly and offered no explanation or apologies for trying to pass off used merchandise as new. When I asked her what to do with this used copy they sent, she said 'just trash it'.

You bet I'll trash it...right over to BBV once my new copy arrives.

I'm sorry it happened to you too, but I'm glad you also said something to them. Nothing will get them to change their ways unless customers complain. Unfortunately, I bet they sent out a lot this way, and the majority of people will just accept it.

i ordered one frontlines, i opened the package it was sent in and the game was not wrapped, had the sticker on it and the disc was scratched. i dont think its unplayable but i will send an email because its not a "new" game that i agreed to purchase

Received my 2nd copy in the mail today - it's opened with a scratched disc inside. This is unacceptable. I can't give either of these as a gift.
