It was a pre-order bonus, and Amazon had issues getting the codes out in a timely manner, so I'd guess that it doesn't.

Though, if you planned on getting it anyway, this balances out getting it at launch, as it's about the same price with the BK XBLA game figured into the mix.

If Amazon botched the code handout, you might get lucky on getting one now.

I first preordered Resistance 2 ($80) and got no code for the skin. Just last week I ordered Resistance 2 again for $60 so that I could return one copy and save some cash. This time they actually sent me my code.

$10 is a great price, but I think I'll pass on Golden Axe. I can stand a mediocre action game so long as it's fun (I actually liked Conan and Viking, for what they were), but when I read that the Golden Axe is pretty tough, I decided to pass.

I can do mediocre so long as it's a pretty easy game and it's entertaining. But mediocre and difficult is a no-go for me. No more self-inflicted torture games in '09!

No big revelation there, it will probably follow the pattern of the other Rare 360 games like Viva Pinata and Perfect Dark Zero and drop like a rock.

But I got the new VP for $30 with the Target extras on BF, and I bit on this for $25. I want to support this developer on 360, and my family loves VP. I'm going to be in the dog house for buying both of these now but I'm only saving probably $15-$25 vs. buying them later and they can be gifts and get play over the holidays this way.

Picked up both Golden Axe and Lost planet. I think that brings me up to 7 <$13 games in the last month.

I bought Banjo for $40 with the xbla code (Actually got 2). I put like 2 hours into it so far. The humor is banjo, but the game itself plays like an open world cart racer with a huge customization component. It actually reminds me of Burnout Paradise of all games. Seems good for what is it.

Brothers in Arms is $20 for 360 — not a terrible game from what I've heard, but not great. You really can't go too wrong with two games that were released within the past two months for $30 combined.

Granted, I haven't played either — personally I would take that $30 and buy Banjo if I wasn't broke already.

Why is Amazion trying to push PS3 bundles on us? If they want to sell a lot, lower the price on the system itself without a bundle, I just don't see my self spending $400-$500 at once for a PS3.

The Nyko guitars are actually pretty good, the one I got from the Black Friday sales at $6.95 works almost identically to the original GHIII Les Paul... almost feels like it was built at the same factory. The frets do feel a bit different but not as bad as some of the reviews I had read-- somewhere in between the RB1 guitar and the GHIII Les Paul. Works fine in RB, RB2, and the Guitar Hero games on the PS3. (didn't test it- and don't think it works-- on the PS2 Guitar Hero games on a PS3)

Worth it for a spare guitar... or even possibly a main one.

I never understand these bundles where they include a music game without the instrument. If I am buying a new console, there is a very good almost definite chance I don't have another game that came with an instrument.

GH III is just like the others, except for these lame boss battles that are really cheap. I agree with others on here that Im about done with all of these music games. From what Ive read, the stuff that Amazon is putting on here looks like the same stuff that undersold on Black Friday (Music games and PS3). Hopefully they will finally give up selling that garbage and get back to some newer and better games.

disappointed so far. i've wasted lots of time waiting for a few BF-like deals to resurface, which now seems doubtful. free-shipping in time for christmas will also expire as the '15 days' conclude. I stayed on the fence too long, and will likely pay full-price/shipping for any gift items.

That's the best way. He'll probably post links in the thread too.

Referral URL usually has something like "cheapassgamer" in the link once it opens in your browser. That's the best way of verifying.
