So, if they ask you about it, just say it was a typo -- 99% of the time they probably won't give a flying fuck as long as you pay. Since this is an American game, the manual should be in English, with the only difference being in the copyright and the address for the local offices (Hong Kong as opposed to somewhere in the US).

I've ordered an Asian version of a Japanese game in the past, and the manual was Japanese, with a Chinese insert, for what it's worth.

I can only speak from past experiences but I got an English manual and all the text in-game was in English.

It will play on ANY 360, and you can play online with other people, no matter what version of the game they have.

This is why Region Free games are good, infact all games should be region free IMO.

If you're a PS3 owner, you don't need deals from Cheapy - there are plenty of PS3 game deals, often well below the price for the same title on the 360, both online and B&M: just peruse this site or check out Target's clearance section.

As a PS2-only gamer during last gen (and long time Sony fan), this gives me no pleasure - but it is what it is.

There's more than one US version: for the 360, there's the game only ($60) and there's the Limited Wireless Headset Edition ($90). Pretty sure this one doesn't come with a headset.

I've seen skillzkillz before trolling on this site. I remember the icon and the font more than anything, but I swear at one point he was actually having a go at CheapyD because all he did was praise the 360, and apparently gave no similar action to the PS3.

The PS3 hasn't gotten anything going for it because it's being marketed badly. I read an article on GamesTM about it supposedly being the year of the PS3 this year. Not trying to fan the flames here, skillzkillz, but what about the PS3 has made it stand out against the 360 this year? Not much. Microsoft hasn't done anything different or awesome or outrageous this year, but neither has Sony. SG's Red Show got it right when they said that the PS3 was underwhelming when you see what titles they had, waiting in the wings.

Exactly. Recent example: Resistance 2 got released on the 28th of November. I went into my Blockbuster the next day; nothing. No cardboard cut-outs, no posters on the wall, nothing. No advertising campaign AT ALL.

In fairness to Cheapy, I recall from the old CAGcasts that he was an early adopter of the PS3 and seemed to be rooting for it. Not for me. It's in the first stage of the transaction: "Products". I added it to cart, clicked Checkout: it displayed a screen titled "Your products." At the bottom of that screen, it said "If you want to use a coupon, please enter it here." There's an empty field for "Coupon code" and a button: "use coupon".

After that you proceed through shipping options, account/address, payment and confirmation.

it goes products, shipping, account/address, payment, confirmation. i have gotten to the confirmation screen multiple times, and i have never seen the dialog box for coupon codes. there used to be a different look to the checkout process IIRC, and the box was on the products page. now i see nothing on the products page.

Strange, I just went to check by Faux adding something to cart, and it didn't ask for coupons. This is extremely strange, sorry I don't remember, I did this a day and a half ago.

Even if CheapyD has a preference on console, who cares?? It's not like he's reviewing games and needs to be impartial. As others have said, it's based on what's selling and what has a larger install base. That just happens to be the 360 for these multi-platform releases.

This deal is VERY tempting. I played the demo last night and thought the voice control was amazingly awesome. My only concern is the depth of the single-player campaign, which just seems to be a series of multiplayer matches against the computer. At $20 though, it might be worth it regardless. Hmmmm....

Could be something funky with your browser settings or java (if play-asia uses it). Try installing firefox or google chrome maybe?

When I was ordering the Asian Lego Indiana Jones for the deal last week, there was no box for it either. I e-mailed them about it (because I wanted to use my effing store credit), and they told me if an item is discounted, there won't always be a coupon box. So, is it possible you're looking at the wrong Endwar? And regardless of if it's the correct or the incorrect, is it on discount now? That's the only thing I can think of. Because if it's on discount, there might not be a coupon box to input the CAG code.

It only works when you ONLY have Endwars in your cart.
I tired with batman game only and i don't see the coupon screen either.
Batman and Endwar in cart and not coupon either.
Endwar only .... bingo, coupon accepted.
I don't know why Play Asia does that but thats just how it is.
So just go back and put nothing else but endwars in your cart and it will work.

Basically Play Asia will only display the coupon box when there is a code available for that game and only that game by itself.
And as of this post Endwar's discount still works so get it before it expires tomorrow.

Gametrailers gave it a 9.0 I think and they are usually pretty on the ball. I thought the game was a decent RTS based on the demo, but the voice command is the big hook for me.

Ugh...I'm resisting biting on this like you wouldn't believe. I really want the game, but, given my current financial situation, I'm having a hard time justifying a $20+ game purchase. If it was sub-$20, I'd be all over it, but that additional $3.40 is haunting me...

Since the cost before shipping was < $20, I convinced myself that this is a qualifying purchase, and nabbed one.

If it hasn't been said already I suggest anyone considering this game to try the demo first. I'm a big RTS fan and was going to jump on this not even seeing screen shots but decided to try the demo. Short story is I just didn't dig it so don't assume you'll like it or won't like it just because you're an RTS fan/hater.

brilliant, man! that was it. that is completely ridiculous. i don't feel silly at all. i feel greatly appreciative, and thoroughly inclined to lay blame at their doorstep. i emailed them and got some lame response that showed they didn't understand the problem. now we know. why wouldn't they want me to buy more product and simply limit the application of the coupon on their end?

cheapy, please take note of this idiosyncrasy to let folks know should play-asia run a special for us CAGs again.

Manual is in english, cover is in english, game is in english, everything is in english. Even says the contact info is San Francisco, CA. Only thing odd is it is made in Singapore which might be where the American version is made. All and all it is the exact same thing. Best deal I've ever gotten on a video game. Definitely worth even $40
