I'm going to be asking for a set for either my birthday or Christmas (both are in December) and I'm looking to save my parents some money.

If you're looking to save them some money, the $300 ION set is probably not your best bet.

Ebay with MS Cash back could snag you a drum set for a little less than retail, but no super deals anywhere that I have seen.
