I'd say the 360 version is better. More people playing it, more of them have headsets (which is not always a good thing but helps in this game) and the lobby system is better on the 360 version from what I've heard.

Oh man, do I buy the 360 version for achievements, or do I play it safe and get the PS3 version for the scratch resistant coating?! This is always my dilemma with pre trophy PS3 multi plat games. Were there any really huge graphical differences between the two? I bought Mass Effect from them and the disk was in pretty good shape. I also just got a DS game from them and it was mint, but then again it was a cartridge.

I think Gamefly is great except I had three used 360 discs that I bought from them mess up, two developed cracks starting from the center of the discs (I keep my discs on a spindle) so make sure and look at the disc closely, the other disc had a slight ring but still worked (my copy of Perfect Dark Zero developed a ring and it was still playable a year later) and only lasted a month or so.

PS3 has visuals glitches, blurry textures & sometimes 360 button icons pop up from time to time (heard about it right after releases from Kotaku & Gamefaqs board, don't know if they patched it). From someone who has actually PLAYED the PS3 version and didnt just read something on gamefaqs, I cant say anything bad at all about the PS3 version, It's a good coop game too, controls were solid, as was online play, although I didnt put online through it's paces.

Oh and the multiplayer is fun for those who asked. It is not better than COD4 or Halo, but its still a good game. The single player mode on the other hand is not that good.

I personally thought the SP on the first one was much better, but its not like this one was absolutely terrible either. For ten bucks, its worth getting to play, especially if you have a partner in crime already lined up.

Glad I signed on today and checked this out. I played the first RS: V (bought it last Black Friday) and only played the intro level. Didn't like it as much as I thought I would, but then again I didn't play through the first Vegas level either. I heard THAT'S when it gets good.

You can't, you have to buy one thing at a time. It's an awful process, but it's always been like that with them. Each purchase is separate. You'd think they would change it to save on shipping (ship it all together) but nope. No shopping cart, you must buy one and then buy another, complete each transaction separately.

I haven't played it, but c'mon...how many 'current gen' retail games this side of Seanbaby review material and Wii shovelware with names like "Game Game" or "Play Party" (complete with 5-minute rush job, clipart box art) aren't worth a $10 risk? I mean, at least you could still resell it with a strong likelihood of recouping most, if not all, of your 'investment'.

These days, $10 is 'impulse buy' territory. Only when it gets to $20 do I really begin doing more extensive 'meditation' and 'research' (read: blankly staring at ceiling and checking GameRankings) on a given title.

Mostly MOTS, though there are better set pieces and more variety to the locations. If didn't like the first you probably will not enjoy this one very much.

One of the best things about this game is the persistent experience points system, where you can gain experience from single player, multipler or co-op in order to gain ranks and unlock new equipment. I hope to see this used more in future games.

i got 2 of the ps3 version. one for me and one for a gift. i was on the fence whether or not to get the 360 or the ps3 version, but i heard the ps3 online options worked better and were more robust. (bigger games, more players, something like that..?) so i hope i made a good choice. :P

Target has had this on clearance for both 360 and PS3 for 9.98. Buying a rental copy from GF means you will likely get a disc in really bad shape with likely dents around the outside of the disc and boat loads of scratches. I would only buy from GF if it was a VERY significant price difference over buying a new copy.

Box and instructions are like new, but the discs have been through the ringer after being rented out so many times and abused by people. I don't believe GF has a resurfacing machine, since the discs I've received and those of a couple of friends of mine have never been like new. Maybe something cheezy like a disc doctor, which might explain all the circular swirly scratches on the Paradise disc I bought from them. I guess it's just a crap shoot on what you will be getting when you order from GF.

I bought DMC4, Burnout Paradise and Army of Two. They all played alright, but were in rough shape. 2 of the discs had dents on the outside of the disc, which is something I hadn't seen before. Rough handling I guess, but if you don't care about the cosmetic aspect of a disc and just want it to play, then I guess buying off GF is alright. If the disc is damaged enough where it has a problem playing, then you can always return it for a replacement.

i actually got 3 games from them (assasins creed, mass effect, unreal tourny 3) and i swear i they looked brand new. The cases and manuals looked untouched, and the discs had not one stratch or blemish. they were seriously mint.

so 3 mint games so far, i consider that enough reliability :)

Well I would be purchasing RSV2, But I dont want to sign up for a membership just to purchase a game......A rep sent me a chat and said that I must be a member to buy the game.....what ever happened to just buying a game without being pressured into purchasing an add-on? You don't need a membership to buy the game. I've bought several games on Gamefly with no membership and it worked.

I bought this last Tuesday morning and still not here. Do I get just the game or does the case and booklet come with it?

Gamefly games come complete, the case/booklet is always mint because they store it while they send the disc around to rent.

From my experience, their shipping is a bit slow, usually slower than when getting a rental.

I usually get mine in about 2-3 days, it depends where you live. Comes with everything, mint condition case and instructions and an used game. Since they only send their users the game in a sleeve the cases are kept in perfect condition. I have gotten 4 games from them all for cheap, all great condition not one problem ever.

Last Friday I had to send a query to them because under "my account" it said the Buy It was still processing, though 2 games I bought AFTER it had already processed and shipped. After they received my email this past Monday they stated it shipped out that very day. Must have been an error.

I wonder WTF happened. I still haven't received my copy, but I only just got Dark Sector on Thursday I think. Still no Unreal Tournament 3 or Rainbow Six. Seems like Gamefly is really slow lately with shipping things from their store.

As much as it sucks that you haven't got your game yet, I'm glad to know I'm not the only one. I've bought two more games from them since RS2 and I'm hoping the same thing doesn't happen with them.
