The "turning into a shooter" part is right, though its only near the end where it happens more often. & you only carry the ammo in your current gun so Ethan is not carrying boxes & magazines of ammo.

You do get bonuses for gold getting medals on each mission which let you carry an extra weapon (you only carry one by default & that stays in your hands until you drop it) along with a difficulty (if you want to call it that) called "FPS mode" that gives you infinite ammo for any carried firearms. Fun in its own way but its just an extra.

& I prefer the 1st since its more freaky & has a better surival-horror atmosphere but the 2nd is still great & worth buying.

just a heads up.... condemned 2 on the 360 has a save glitch.

if you turn your xbox off without exiting to the main menu, your save file will get corrupted.

Meh doesn't seem that great, almost every review stated that the AI was extremely iffy (dumb) and that's a big deal breaker for me. It's a shame because the first one was sort of a one-of-a-kind title and creeped me out pretty well.

The R6:Vegas 2 deal was superior. I hope another better game comes along in the next day or two. Keep us posted :D

I have Condemned 2 for the PS3, despite its combat flaws and the odd change of "theme" throughout the game I found it enjoyable. Nothing great, but enjoyable.

I really enjoyed this one (and I didn't play condemned 1, either). I got it at Target on clearance for $10 and thought I would just play through a few levels and Goozex it. It totally sucked me in and I have played through every level twice. Good story, challenging gameplay and great voice work (and really freakin' scary at times). I was a little put off by the combat at first, then I figured out it was because I sucked at it. Once I learned the system - it was great. Good times, good times....

I would be in for Condemned 3 at full price. Sega are you listening?

I'd say for $10 it's worth it, any more and I'd hang on to your wallet. I didn't like it nearly as much as the first Condemned. Too much gunplay this time around, and the melee combos detracted from the whole experience in my opinion. Still, for $10 how can you go wrong?

Not that I'm aware of, all you can do is see if the game launches, but it sort of sucks to think you could make it 80% through a game to find out that there is a part of a disc that can't be read.

I know how you feel about not getting to the games for a while, with all of the deals floating around I now have a 4-5 game backlog.

I don't think they can do anything for you. They said that there were no exchanges, only returns. And if the title was still available I could just re-order it, at the higher price.

Also their return process seems a little suspect, they quickly refunded the money, which is great... but they said just write "return to sender" on the package and drop it in a mail box... No RMA or Tracking #?

Maybe Im confused because I didnt play Condemned 1, but I dont quite understand the beginning of this game. He is in a bar and then some vampire looking guy starts messing with him. Then he starts fighting homeless/thugs outside and then the vampire guy beats him up and puts him in an "alternate" world?

Can someone please explain to a Condemend noob like me :) Did I miss a cutscene in the beginning explaining this?
