Surprised I haven't seen this mentioned on the board yet and if it is a repost, mod, please delete it.

Got this TRU sales ad yesterday in the paper with lots of random toys and a few video games.

PSP: $7.49 - $9.99 each
Rush
Midway Arcade Treasures Extended Play
SNK Arcade Classics
Atari Classics Evolved
Pinball Hall Of Fame: The Williams Collection
Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max

PS2: 4.99 - 9.99
Alvin and the Chipmunks
Brunswick Pro Bowling
World Championship Paintball
Looney Tunes Acme Arsenal

DS: 7.49 - 9.99
Looney Tunes Duck Amuck
Boogie
Build-A-Bear Workshop (that's what it looks like...hard to read)
Cooking Mama
Nicktoons Battle For Volcano Island
Soul Bubbles

I know it ain't much but some of the PSP titles interest me since I just got one and I definitely recommend the Pinball game as I already have it. I know some of the games were showing up at these sale prices yesterday on their website but as usual, tax and shipping probably kills the deal...though you could use the $10 Paypal coupon to offset it.

It also mentions at the bottom of the ad: "25% off select Wii accessories - 5.99 - 39.74" and the back of the ad mentioned the same PSP bundle for $204.97 that was advertised before I believe. PSP Piano Black, PSP tech case and one of either Monster Jam Urban Assault, Lego Batman, or Ben 10 Alien Force.

Thought I would pass it on just in case...

That's what the flyer says. It says sale prices valid Dec. 2-3, 2008 only. It says "Sale Weds. Preview Tues." Does a preview mean the prices were good yesterday as well for the "preview?" Kinda confusing.

Soul Bubbles is exceptionally good time. It's my pick for Handheld GOTY, easily.

Anyone with $10 and a DS should absolutely pick it up.

I'm going to bite on the pinball, just because I've been in the mood for a pinball game with decent tables.

TRU.com sucks because it's always shit like orders over $50 or $100 will be shipped free..meanwhile the shipping is like $5 or so.

Some good prices on there. I may go out for Soul Bubbles since it has so much hype in this thread alone.
SNK Arcade Classics looks good for 10 bucks also.

Pinball Hall Of Fame is ABSOLUTELY worth it unless you absolutely HATE pinball... if you enjoy pinball at all it is worth it. The only glitch is that my save game somehow got corrupted and I lost a bit of stuff unlocked and such. (I have never had a PSP game with a corrupt save before, not sure what happened there)

That said I see some stuff that looks interesting, may have to stop by a TRU on my way home and hope they still have SNK Arcade... I've been waiting for that to get cheap so I really hope it's still around. Thanks, OP!

yay Soul Bubbles, but I completely forgot about Duck Amuck. It's great but far, far too short. and a bad ending. But great writing until then...

Here's a couple of quick price confirmations since the sales ad gives a range:

Rush - $7.49
Midway Arcade Treasures Extended Play - $7.49
SNK Arcade Classics - $9.99
Atari Classics Evolved - $9.99
Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max - $9.99

Cooking Mama - $9.99
Soul Bubbles - $9.99
And for some reason, Duck Amuck is ringing up at $5.00.

Those were the only ones I personally priced checked.

And as others have said, I highly recommend the pinball game if you like pinball. The graphics are fantastic and the tables feel like the real thing. I don't know how they did it on such a tiny system but it moves and feels like the real tables and plays just as good as the Wii version which I also have. I lived off the Funhouse and Whirlwind tables back in high school.

I work at TRU during the holiday, and picked up SNK, Midway and Atari collections for like $25 after my discount. Good stuff, and the PSP version of SNK Collection seems to play better than the PS2 version

Thanks for pointing out this deal. I had wanted SNK Classics for a long time, but didn't want to pay 20-30 bones. Swung by TRU tonight while I was out and about and snagged a copy for 9.99.

I'd also like to say thank you to the OP.

I grabbed the last Williams Pinball and the next to last SNK Classics at my local store. It was crazy in there, holiday shopping was in full swing...I didn't realize they're open 'til 11 most nights now.

And yes, this deal ends today, December 3rd.

Sigh, my local store told me they had 4 copies of SNK Arcade and of course absolutely NONE were to be found. Guy at customer service said they had 4, the computer was trustworthy, to go back to digging through the totally disorganized pile of crap they called the game section... guy in R-Zone told me the computer is wildly inaccurate and he had no idea where they were. Somebody was just enjoying making me suffer, not sure which guy.

I did get Soul Bubbles but annoyed I couldn't get SNK given they supposedly had 4 (and I was running late for dinner plans and couldn't stop by a slightly farther TRU to check)... bummer. :(

That stinks. SNK Classics is a great bargain at 9.99. 16 different games amounts to around 63 cents per game. I dig the PSP for these kinds of compilations and already have Williams Pinball, which is also a fun one.

I feel the same way. After playing the Soul Bubbles demo....man, I'm really bummed. It's like Roco Loco, only with far more control.
