Since when have the International Electrotechnical Commission's globally-recognized power symbols (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Power_symbol) been at all proprietary to PC?
Anyways, let's not beat around the bush. It's MGS4: Subblahsomething on 360. We all know this.

It's an anagram for Metal Gear EX: Saint
The two exclamation marks indicate the setting will be in a Latin American country, and the power button symbolizes power.
Putting this all together, I can only imagine that the next Metal Gear project focuses on a priest infiltrating a power company in Brazil.
Konami was really tricky, but thankfully I was here to decipher their message.

As others elsewhere have mentioned, the inverted exclamation could just be the letter i, as in iPhone, Nintendo DSi, or the Wii (although the latter being more of a stretch). Seems this can be linked to any game platform out there.

Out of those three platforms, the Wii is the likeliest candidate. I sincerely doubt they would create a game specifically designed for the iPhone or a DSi exclusive.
It is a toss up between the Wii and 360. Hopefully, it's for the 360 simply because I will not ever buy a Wii.

I don't give a shit what console but it better be Ac!d.
if the last logo isn't a system I say it's Metal Gear Acid Online (Different title most likely). Why?
- Acid Exclamation
- Global Symbol (the circle... though yeah, it's more like a power sign)
- Green is the new color for the game since yellow was the last one.
CrimsonPaw
12-05-2008, 05:34 PM
I wonder if the initial i refers to something coming for the iPhone considering that MGS4 had a iPod and Macbook Pros in the game (it's obvious they're fans of Apple) and also considering the iPhone just launched in Japan. Then again, the last symbol does look like it ties back to the 360.
Hope we find out soon.

KingBroly

The only Metal Gear Solid game I could see coming to XBLA is the original MGS because of the size issues. Metal Gear Acid 1 & 2, as well as Portable Ops also kinda fall into this size trap (maybe?)
But as many people have noted, it says mgst, not mgs4_t like mgs2_sub or whatever it is.

I also agree that its Metal Gear Acid Mobile for the iPhone. The cell-phone version won the Best Mobile Game at What Mobile awards just last month.
After watching this video I'm pretty sure it will have something to do with the Acid series.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QfGMSRs9Hnw&feature=related
The opening and closing uses the exclamation point symbol prominetly, so I think that solves part of the riddle.
The "i" part of the riddle could easily be for the iPhone, or even possibly for the new DSi. But my money's on the iPhone.

Anything to do with Metal Gear would be great, no matter what platform it is on. Well, minus anything to do with cellphones, because I don't have that can play games. I would actually love to see a new Ac!d game. I know a lot of people don't like the series, and I am by no means a fan of card games, but I had a load of fun with both games.
As for MGO, I don't know where all the hate is coming from. MGO is great. It's something very different. It's not, "Oh, let's all run out into the open, and whoever has the twitchest fingers wins." It's a load of fun getting the drop on people, using traps, etc. Both versions are easily in my personal top online games ever, especially Subsistence MGO. MGS4 MGO was a slight disappointment, just because it didn't feel like that big of a jump from the original. Still, I easily put in a month with it and will probably return, if I start hitting a lull in games that interest me.
