Accident. My dad busted my mom's nose (he slammed on the brakes and she hit the dashboard) when he found out.

This topic made me laugh. One of my friends complains all the time that he was a accident. I however was planned... *waits on insulting comments*

I'm perfectly cool with that.

Another fun thing to think about - count forward three months from the month you or born (or 9 months back from the month you were born, whichever floats your boat) and think of an important event in that month. You were likely conceived then. You'd be suprised at how many people are exactly 9 months apart from their parents birthday.. :-k

Never really botherd to ask or caired. From the way my mom had talked and when my dad was alive the way he talked I was planned. However I had a friend in highschool that was not and when he was a kid his mom gave him a birthday party and his birthday gift was her telling him he was an accident. When she told him this all he did was look at her and say "WHAT THE FUCK MOM!" and walk out. Later he joked about it and all of us found it funny.

I have no idea because I don't talk about this shit with my parents. If I had to guess I'd say planned since they were young and married at the time but it was also the 70s so who the hell knows...

Planned, my parents waited 7 years after they married to have a kid because they wanted to have a home and be financially secure.

Well, I was always thought I was planned.
However, I also just recently realized that I was about 2 years old when my parents actually got married. So I am not really sure now.

We used to joke that my friend's very devout parents were always humping whenever he left the house. He used to get really weird when we mentioned his mom saying "grace" whenever she went down on his dad. Haha.

I was an accident. My parents had a boy and girl already, and I came 7 years later.
Planned... I was third (and last) born. They had a miscarriage before me which can be weird to think about at times.. could I have another older sibling? Or could I be a completely different person altogether? Regardless, I have much to be thankful for and would not change a thing within my power or not.
We just found out some good friends of ours are unexpectedly expecting. I commented to someone at work that everyone we know is either pregnant or already a parent (as if my baby crazy fiance needs any more ammo in her arsenal). When I think about it, it's 50/50 planned or 'accident'.

I'm pretty sure I'm the result of fertility drugs, my father would slip them into my mothers breakfast squishie every morning(insert Apu clip here) My parents were supposed to have at least 5 kids a few before I was born and at least 1 more after I was born.

this is a trick question, in the father's eyes you may have been an accident
but depending on the mother it could've been a preconceived planned trap

Now that I think about it, I had to have been conceived right around my parents' anniversary. That means it probably was on their anniversary.

I was a surprise - like Jesus!
But actually, no, I was planned. My mom told me all the time when I was a kid that I came from the sperm bank (which I had no idea what it was, so yeah), just so that she didn't have to explain to me about a man putting his hoo-hoo-dilly in a woman's cha-cha. In reality I'm not special at all, just another planned result of my parents banging.

planned but unwanted. my parents were married for years but my father didn't want kids. still doesn't. he's the center of the world as far as he's concerned and didn't want anyone distracting my mother's attention from him. needless to say, they're divorced.

I was painstakingly planned. My mom had numerous problems conceiving and a number of miscarriages before I was born. In fact, I was her final try.

You know I don't know but this got me thinking... I have 3 brothers, 2 born in December and one in January. December is 9 months from my parent's anniversary date, they're the two eldest. I'm born in August so I probably wasn't planned or a result of some holiday banging. My younger brother being born in January is probably a result of late Anniversary banging due to having 3 boys running around. Probably an accident too, since he's a 20 year old vampire.

Seven years between myself and my nearest sibling? Probably an accident.
However, the rather odd story of how my dad found out about my existence indicates that he had some idea what was going on. So... I dunno. I still figure accident, though.

2 years ago I found out that my parents got married about 4 months before I was born. Thus an accident.
And I am 42. Mom didn't even tell me, I was looking at the dates on the pictures from their wedding and put it together.
(They were divorced so I had never seen the pics before)

I was planned in a vague sense. My mother started out intent on having six kids. No, not Mormon or Catholic. She came from a Jewish family that would have been five kids if the one before her hadn't died within days of birth. It was more of a post-WWII thing, where cranking big families was in vogue.
Things didn't go as planned. After my eldest sister there were no more pregnancies for six years. They were looking at adoption when my other sister came along, then my two brothers and me, each with less gap than the previous.
I was born approximately nine months after the JFK assassination. (At the old Cedars of Lebanon Hospital in Los Angeles, which today is the world HQ of Scientology. The TM people are almost next door. I've wondered if they commute together, like the Sheepdog and the Wolf in the old Warner cartoons.) I've kidded my mother a good deal about my parent's 'passionate' reaction to the event.
Planned.
I was needed to make my dad a legal citizen of this country.
