Not bad, but can be had at Blockbuster for 9.99 used.

10 bucks says that this game will be one of Game Fly's deals (since they seem to be only picking titles that are PS3 & X360), and I'm guessing that It'd be $10 too.

you can pretty much get this for 20 any place that sells it still... but i like the game, only played one online match... great game for those guys who want to get back into fighting games

Decent price but I have no one to play fighters with anymore & laugh at the thought of going online with one, since pinpoint accuracy is very important.

$10 would have been great!

why is VF5 so cheap? I know it has been $10 at BBV for quite a while. It's excellet game, right? at least based on the reviews. I mean, you can't even get DOA4 for $10.

For a game that is almost 2 years old $14.98 is not a great deal IMO.

Very good game, but the online kinda stinks. You just play one person and then it's over, unless you go for a rematch. SC IV does it better, with a 4 player lobby and when you aren't fighting you can spectate. Still yet, 15 bucks i sa great price and I would rather have a new copy than a used, nasty copy from GS for 10.

I bought it. I have it for PS3 already, but I prefer the X360 version.

great game - the vf series generally has the best single player mode of any fighting game i've played. there are hundreds of computer AI opponents and you travel around to different arcades trying to beat all of the players that frequent that arcade. in the process you rank up, play in tournaments, earn cash to buy clothes for your character, etc. the highest ranked computer opponents are modeled after real vf pros in japan. took me about 50 hours to beat it.
i was extremely disappointed by the single player offering in sc4, but of course i may be in the minority in that i'd rather play single player than vs. in fighting games.

Great price for this game, i picked it up for $20 when TRU had their clearance on it(like 1/2 a year ago)
this is a game that you can button mash in, but once you play against someone that knows how to play then button mashing won't work
this is probably one of the deepest 3D fighting games out there
I haven't played a VF since VF2 on the Saturn, i couldn't believe how many different types of moves you can pull off with just 1 punch, 1 kick button, and Guard
the quest mode is also pretty fun, i was playing it for like 5 hours 1 night, barely 7% of rivals beat
I only have to really try against 9th dan and up
SC4 couldn't even keep me interested after getting all the characters(which you can do in an hour)
not saying SC4 is bad or anything, but VF5 is King right now, I cant speak on online though
I'm hoping Street Fighter 4 will hold my attention as long as VF5, if not then there's always Tekken 6

keep in mind before i bought VF5 a few weeks ago, the last fighter i actually played quite often was SFII on my SEGA... but there is a unique rythem to each fight especially when you play against a tough opponent.
there is no button mashing, maybe on the easy players... but on a hard difficulty this game is very strategic. so far i've been playing with out a stick too, and found the controller to be pretty decent

Tempting...but I'm gonna pass...too many games and VT5 is only like a low-medium want.

Well said. VF5 > DOA4 > SC4
I end up playing VF5 for hours and have no freaking clue how long it's been.

cuz vf5's online features sucks. No lobbies, can't change characters, can't change stages while playing with online friends. DOA4 is a much better overall game with proper online components. A lot of people are still playing it online. Hell, people are still playing DOAU. All said vf5 is still a good game as it's fighting system is the deepest amount all fighters. Just don't expect much fun online.

I'd pick this up, but I just got DOA4 a few months back from Gamestop and I need to play more of it first.

This is why buying Golden Axe is stupid: If you waste $10 on that, you might not have money for pure quality like this!
This is such a good game.

If you are down to your last 20 bucks you shouldn't be spending any of it on video games.

Actually, that is exactly what I'm looking for in a fighting game: a robust single-player experience. I never play versus. Ordered one. Thanks!

This game is superb in so many aspects. I've always been a 2D Street Fighter person, but this is one of the few 3D fighters that I'd fully recommend. Every character also has a different real-life fighting style which I really like.

QFT. Virtua Fighter 5 is one of the best fighting games I've ever played(and I play a LOT of them, too). I even got all 1000 GamerScore points. Every fighting game's 1P modes should be like VF5's Quest mode.....Seriously, it's kick ass.

Wasnt really wanting this one, but finally gave in at this price so I would have something to pair with The Orange Box. Maybe ill play, maybe ill simply try and sell it, in any case its a good price.

Treat it like a Martial Arts game instead of like Street Fighter and you'll do just fine.8-)
