Yes, that's right, more than 50% off from retail of $89-99.00 at every store.

I found this deal around 9:50pm tonight in a North Virginia Target. They had 3 and I took 1, and hid the other 2 really really well.

If anyone wants me to pick one up, I will charge $8 for shipping and gas.

Oh, and I used this tonight, as long as you leave off WEP, it works fantastic, but with WEP, it drops like every 30 seconds, so just set your router with MAC address security and you would be all set on the security side.

s0undwav3, happy hunting. PS, there is 4.5 tax in VA, so total will be 41.79 + 8 for shipping and gas.

My Target had the Microsoft XBOX Wireless adapter down to $18.34 and I bought the last 2..One for upstairs and one for downstairs....Whut a ba'gan
When Target clearances stuff, it goes way low...If the price ends in .34 then you know that's as far as they will lower the price...Every week they will lower the price until it hits .34 on the end and by then it's down to the lowest price....In other words, those adapters will go lower than $39.99 if they stay hidden at the store long enough...

How did we jump from $39.99 + tax + $8 to to $49.79 + $8?

Wow...what a great deal. I thought $40 was great, but 18.34...is unbelievable. Well, if they stay hidden, I could probably go find them and return mine within 90 days. But I doubt they'll stay where they are at as inventory comes in.

I bought mine for $19.99 from Target in May. Surprising that it isn't down to that price at all Target stores by now.

Ehh, Jacksonville Target (Mandrin) had it for 60, it was a good deal, not $40 but still good. Will look for another if someone wants one, if not, I will have one for the ps2 and one for the xbox.

How do you get these to work with the PS2? Any tips or links? Thanks

To the original poster -- is it still possible to get one from you? My local Target still wants $100 for it. :?

This must be YMMV, because Target in SoCal has them on clearance for $55.48. I have checked 6 Targets within the Pasadena Area.

Just plug it into the PS2 instead of the Xbox. I have one and it works fine with both Xbox and PS2. It's just in essence a wireless bridge, once it's configured to your router, just run the ethernet cable to the PS2 instead of the Xbox.

You have to configure the adapter with the xbox, but once its configured, you can use it with a PC, PS2, Gamecube or any ethernet enabled device.

I'm bringing this thread back from hibernation because they just reduced the Xbox Wireless Adapter over at the Target in Schaumburg (behind Woodfield) to 39.98, just like the rest of the Chicago area. I printed out the UPC code as directed by the big Target sticky in this forum, and I've been checking in on that Target every week, waiting for them to reduce the price. It's been stuck at 55.99 or something for a few weeks, and it looks like they're ready to clear them out. They have about 4~5 left in the glass case underneath the Xbox games.

And as you may know, when Target reduces/clearances-out an item and the price ends in an 8, the price will not get any lower on that particular item.

Good Luck!
