GTA IV should be available in abundance. Every BBV I went to had tons of copies, but then I was one of the first people to take advantage of the deal in my area.

Virtua Tennis 3 should be available, as well. I didn't see too folks hopping on that. It was 4.99, most times without an instruction booklet.

I have a slight dilemma on my hands when I go back into the Blockbuster I traded into last night because they still actually have VV on the rack in all the denominations with the rest of the gift cards. I'm wondering if I can get the store manager to let me buy one since I have just over enough credit to get $100?

Its YMMV. It completely depends on where you live and how many Blockbusters you visit. I.E. There are 4 BBVs that I've plundered over the past few days for flips. The first time I went shopping during this sale, I was not going for flips and I saw probably 10+ at 2 of those stores each, and then around 6 to 10 each at the other stores.

Fast forward to yesterday, one of those stores had none, one of them had 1 (which I bought), and between the two others there was about 5 total, but every one of them had at least 1 copy of it when I got there.

There are people still reporting multitudes of copies in their local stores, but its getting very light in regards to my locals. It all depends on where you live and the only way to find out is to call or go down yourself. So yes, you could still get it, but its not guaranteed. As for Virtua Tennis, I have not seen 1 of those during this sale around here, but I've also not paid a lot of attention to PS3 games other than the first time I hit this sale which was mainly for games to add to my collection and not for flipping purposes.

Went to Blockbuster this morning to rent Resident Evil: Degeneration and took a look at the used games while I was there. It was slim pickings(GTA4 is still tagged as $24.99 and the only 360 game $14.99 or below was Sega Superstar Tennis).

But I did manage to get Indigo Prophecy(Xbox, disc only) for $4.99 and get Red Faction 2(Xbox) for free.

Haha I was thinking the same thing about those games I traded in hitting the magic $14.99 price. After I traded I went and looked and did find a PS3 AoT stickered at $24.99. The old trade value was $12 so yea $8->15 idea seems possible and nothing is ever stickered correctly at this store so yea.

I found a store that had a ton of them and Battle of the bands left, so i only picked u pone of each then i found that they were both worth $5(GS) too bad I wont make it through there again soon, all the other BBV's I went to yesterday were empty except for miss marked product. I now have tons of copies of Ninja reflex to trade in. I also had problems finding enough flippables for the B2G1, I ended up just buying 3 34.99 games at a store and then going to other stores and returning for flippables.

I also ran into some dumb BBV workers, I guess that's what i get for making a run to new stores.
One worker told em that they cant take Smash Court and that BBV employees that look up TIV's in the computer are at risk of being fired(LOL the manger here has done it for me several times)

I meant that I was unable to even purchase one because their registers wouldn't activate them... some sort of communications problem. Hopefully it was a local issue or temporary.. tried both my local stores last night and it didn't work. I was trying to help a buddy out by buying it for him and only asking $15 from him. Win-win. But it was a no-go.

On another note... I think Blockbuster's registers might actually be properly handling B1G1 promo as far as buying games at different price points, without having to total it up after each pair.

Example: At one store today, I bought 4 $6.99 games, 5 $9.99 games and one $14.99 game (couldn't find another $9.99 to pair up).

Anyway, there's ten games total, and in the past if the clerk waited until the end to hit total, it would only promo off the cheapest games; in my case it would have taken off 4 $6.99 games and 1 $9.99 games. However, much to my surprise.... the guy waited til the very end to total it up and it actually took off 2 $6.99 games and 3 $9.99 as any normal person would have always expected.

So, potentially good news if its true... no more worrying about ignorant employees.

i feel ya on that one. got the ce pre-ordered at gamecrazy, thanks to them pricematching blockbuster trade in values. will probably put a preorder down for the fightstick when i trade in the next batch of wii games. fortunately, i got plenty of gamestop credit so spending $150+tax on the stick will hurt only a little.

to make this a little more on topic, i hit up 2 blockbusters and like you guys have mentioned, they were all pretty much picked clean. was only able to grab 8 games between the 2 stores. i really didn't mind as i just wanted to dump my flips and pickup a copy of hellboy 2 on blu-ray for the $17.99 sale price they got goin. was also able to buy a $50 bbv giftcard with my value card in order to take advantage of the blockbuster.com sale on 7.99 hd-dvds.

That's cool and very clearly a YMMV situation. However, I don't understand your comment and many others I've read lately.... "was still $19.99 at my store". Doesn't everybody know yet that tags are often not updated and that if you read a price here in the thread, that price is good nationwide (at corporate stores)? Just seems to be an influx of those types of comments... maybe all the 'B1G1 featuring GTA IV!!!' attention BBV is getting lately.

Anyway, I wanted to let everyone know that I picked up Mario 64 for the DS and Mass Effect for $14.99 each today (meaning that they qualified for B1G1). Great prices on both of these.

Mass Effect is a crappy flip even with the extra $5, but I've heard great things about it, so I'm adding it to the Backlog. Other than that, standard day of flipping, wife is pissed, etc. My kids are staying at the grandparents this week though, so I'm hoping I can spend some time to really stock up over the next few days.

I had the same incident, but from what I understand stores get points for taking in trades, and for sales, so from my understanding they don't get in trouble for selling a game for 9.99 that they gave 35.00 for. but around here stores have trouble keeping the $36 trades in stock, I know the ones I trade in are usually gone within a week or two, its the ones that trade in for $15-lower that i see sit on the shelves until the next B1G1 when they sell for 14.99 or under.

I just came back from a BB that had like 8 copies of GTA4 PS3 and about 15 copies of GTA4 360 all tagged at $24.99. The funny part is that they were right below the B1G1 signs. I guess people saw the tags and assumed it didn't qualify for the promo. :lol:

I wish I would have checked this thread before I went out. I would have picked up Mass Effect. FYI, the end date on the signs at this BB was also 1/12.

Went to a Blockbuster tonight (east side Milwaukee) and they had lots of GTAIV PS3, The Club 360, and Turok 360 marked at $15. One copy each of GRAW2, Flatout: Ultimate Carnage, and Stuntman Ignition all on 360 for $15. Also lots of PS3 shovelware games I've never heard of.

Didn't get anything, just letting you all know what kinds of games to expect.

Yay - So I went to what is actually my second-closest BBV but it is in the other direction from where I usually go so I tend to forget about it. It is in a small town. They actually had some decent stuff left, imagine that! I got Table Tennis, 2 x Ninja Reflex, Big Beach Sports (thanks to whoever, cdeener maybe, for saying that was $9.99 as they had it tagged $14.99 here and I would have skipped it if so), Alien Syndrome, Sonic Riders Zero Gravity, Cars Mater National for 360, Narnia Prince Caspian for 360, and a GTA IV for 360 for good measure ;) (actually, just to pair with Sonic Riders - didn't really want to get another one - have 4 already).

That one was $9.99 and I didn't see either Narnia game on my list so I was somewhat surprised. It may be a mistag of the first game. The BBV used sticker says "X360-Chronicles of Narnia, The" and then cuts off - so probably that would continue as "Lion, The Witch,", etc (though it could just be the "The" from Chronicles of Narnia ;))... Still, haven't seen a mention of that one either so it was sort of a surprise. Hmmm - I may keep a Ninja Reflex, too - will have to read reviews. One of the copies I got is so perfectly mint it almost seems a shame to trade it in to GS ;).

Is that a small amount of games for them to have? I think all my stores have about 100-150 games total across all platforms, except a couple that probably push the 200 range. Of course, that number has gone down significantly since the start of the B1G1.

Mass Effect is a crappy flip even with the extra $5, but I've heard great things about it, so I'm adding it to the Backlog. Other than that, standard day of flipping, wife is pissed, etc. My kids are staying at the grandparents this week though, so I'm hoping I can spend some time to really stock up over the next few days.

Yeah, I was going to delete that other thread but a lot of CAGs who otherwise would never read this thread have gotten in on the GTA deal. I told them to look here for other games and had been deleting non-GTA finds from that thread. But now with Mass Effect being part of the sale, I'll just let it be.

Speaking of which, if you don't have it, then hell yeah, it is a great deal and you should definitely keep one! I bought it full price at release and while I didn't think it was as awesome as some did, it was definitely good and well worth the $7.50 at BBV that's for sure. I'd be all over it now if I didn't already have it, though interestingly the store I went to today that was pretty well stocked didn't have one. I may see if my local store has it and get it as a gift for a friend of mine who just got a 360 recently. He is always amazed that I get games for any less than $40 or $50 :lol:. Alright, after tracking this thread for a long time now, I have finally decided to embark on a flipping run tomorrow, since I have all day free and all of my local stores are pretty decently stacked with merchandise (tons of GTA 4's).

I have compiled a list of games that I am going to shoot for, but I wanted to make sure I understood the current trade in promotions at Gamestop.

1) Trade 5+ and get extra 30% - With Edge this would increase to 40% right? Any limitations on this one?

2) Extra $5 with any Wii game over $2 - Any limitations on this one? Can stack Edge card, right?

3) Anyone know the TIV for Rogue Galaxy at GS?

Finally, do you guys have any advice in general for me? My goal is to eventually build up enough credit to buy a Wii, but we will see how things go I guess. Thanks for any help you veterans can give me.

I've found the Wii games to be plentiful and better flips than GTAIV. Plus you can trade in more in one shot with the Wii stuff, compared with having to trade in four games and one GTAIV to get the 40% bonus.

Yeah, it's late but I'm pretty sure your math is correct. My point was that you'll find it much easier to flip Wii games.

Think of it this way: with $30 at BBV you could buy 6 Wii games and go straight to GS, or you could get four GTAIVs but then have to find 16 other games to trade in to get the 40% bonus on those four GTAIVs (since most Gamestops limit you to trading in one copy of a title at a time)

The tags are definitely off but prices have been different for me at different stores. Had Turok & Mass Effect scanned at one store and they came up $19.99. Scanned Turok at another and it came up $14.99. Blockbusters are just Fucked & the used games are pretty Fucked up.

If something scans at a different price than what is mentioned in this thread, then one of two things are happening:

1.) You might be in franchise store, where prices are different
2.) If you've just asked an employee to look it up / scan it, you might have an idiotic employee who either didn't understand your question or simply read the wrong price and could have rattled off the price for a new copy.

Case in point: Mass Effect *is* $19.99 new, so I expect you've encountered situation number 2.... always clarify that you're asking about the used price. If they're just looking it up (in BBV lingo, seems like they call this "stat-ing" it... I guess 'stat' being short for 'status'), they have to make sure to look at the correct column on the screen to read the used price (think its called PRP).

If they're actually ringing it up and you're trying to buy it, sometimes clueless employees scan the normal UPC on the back of the back, as if to sell you a new copy of the game, when they should really be scanning the unique BBV barcode on the CD sleeve (or sometimes I've seen them on the case). It's a long, thin white barcode sticker.

Anyway, yeah, probably just dumb employee.... always clarify that you're asking about the used price. And yes, BBV in general, including their used games, are fucked up.

Notice how some BBV's have their used games in cases while others have them disc only in a cupboard behind the desk. This one BBV I used to frequent does that and it is fucked up! No wonder they have so many great games because they are all scratched to hell! Another thing that drives me crazy is the places that have dump all games new or used in bins so people can rummage through them trying to find something to pair with the 30 plus copies of GTA IV for :360:. :roll:

:wii: games are nearly extinct at the bbvs in my area unfortunately. I just got a :ds: lite and would love to find some games but their just as rare as The Orange Box.

Thanks everyone for getting TIV updates. I'm glad everything held, although I wasn't too worried about drops this week. I have 4 games left to trade that I just didn't get around to this weekend. No time while I was at the parents', and when I got home yesterday I had a massive headache and just spent the time in bed. I was also pleasantly surprised to find that the Wii promo is extended.

I dunno about you guys, but this storm has been much better for me than the one from the summer. My BBVs seem to have buttloads of converted rentals and they all have at least 2-3 times as many viable flips as the last time around. With the trade 3 get $15 bonus promotion on the horizon, I hope you guys are able to find more PS3 and 360 games.

I got a nice Rock Band hat for $11 in cheap credit. I told him i'd buy stuff but all the gamestops are wiped out of good used games. It's funny seeing a second gamestop with half the wall of used Wii games being RED STEEL.
They should be thanking us for bring all the wii stuff over from Blockbuster, at least those will sell better than the junk PS2/Xbox games from HWV.

I don't think the GS $5 Wii trade-in promo was ever "extended". It's always been listed on their website with a 1/5 expiration. I think people were just confused because it was also advertised in a GS 3-day ad.

But yeah, its still goin'.

Went to another BBV this morning and like the one I went to yesterday, GTAIV is $24.99 used(could it be a regional price?). I noticed strangely that none of the BBV stores I went to have no used Wii games, only new games for sale. Either they got hit early during the sale or no one has been trading games in there.

Tell them to get their manager. You CAN put it on a different EDGE Card. People have done it tons of times already.

Good luck with DS games. Most stores JUST made a switch from rental -> used games with DS games. I know my stores did that 2 weeks ago and we only converted 5 games total. That was the first DS rental->used conversion at my store so far. Should see more pop up int he upcoming months though.

Today I got 35 for Legendary, 15 for Smash Court Tennis, 22 for Monster Jam, and 9 for Motorstorm. Every value held up this week so that was a nice suprise.

Still unable to trade Far Cry 2 for PS3 though. Thought I'd give it a chance, but no luck. The weird thing is the store had no used copies, one new copy, and two copies for rental and still would not accept it.

I didn't ask for a new edge card, he just did it on his own. I was asked and denied by a couple clerks a week ago. They figured if they did it then I wouldn't get the 10% since the yellow sticker would only be on one card.
They can scan edge to get the discount, then use the other card to pay.
And still pay no tax.

Two GS TIVs of concern:

Counter Force :wii: $6.99 --> $2
Super Swing Golf 2 :wii: $9.99 --> $2 (But supposedly $11 at FYE if complete and mint)

Both of these should be added to the op and struck through because they are invalid for the sale and, therefore, garbage games that should be avoided.

Can we also get links to the FYE and GS TIV threads in the first or second post? That would be immensely helpful to everyone, I'm sure!

You know it's really smarter to program you're BBV store into you're cell phone and call them before making impulse purchases, I've been surprised on numerous occasions on how low they can be on certain items.

I finally got a ride out to my local stores...and I found the three bargain bins (or cardboard boxes) right when I walked in the front door...I immediately noticed there were over 20 copies of GTA 4 on XBOX 360, I at first was holding 6 copies of just GTA4...but then some fat lady was like right behind me (didn't even see her when I came in) and she goes "you can only have 2 copies of a game" or something like that...so I was kinda pissed, but, I got 2 copies, then I grabbed Condemned 2 and Virtua Fighter Online...I checked out, paid $28 or so for GTA4 x2, Condemned 2 and VFO.

the one on the first page is the most compiled list. the only sure fire is to have the games scanned anyway. also, reading more than a few pages might be required. some times a couple hundred posts go by very fast.

Good luck with DS games. Most stores JUST made a switch from rental -> used games with DS games. I know my stores did that 2 weeks ago and we only converted 5 games total. That was the first DS rental->used conversion at my store so far. Should see more pop up int he upcoming months though.

Did a bunch of back and forth flipping today b/t GS and Blockbuster. Spent way too long, drove way too far, but I'm bored and jobless for the next few weeks ;)
All the traded games listed are consistent with the prices in the thread.

I bought Oblivion, Legendary, and that 360 Tennis game, turned it into:

6 or 7 trade fodder wii games--Manhunt, TH:PG, GeoWars, Table Tennis, Ninja Reflex, Nights, something else I forget

3 keepers: SMG new, RE:UC used ($24.99...expensive, but the game is $35+ everywhere else it seems), and No More Heroes used ($14.99.)

Traded the fodder games to EB/GS, got $72 credit. Bought another set of Legendary, Oblivion, 360 Tennis game, traded back to BB for about $88 (they were giving tax on the trade ins!), and picked up Wii Fit, which was inexplicably sitting on the counter of BB at 5 this afternoon. :)

TLDR: ~$65 - $70 out of pocket for Wii Fit, SMG new, RE:UC, and No More Heroes. yay!

I turned my $500 BB credit into over a grand GS; still got $170 BB & quite a few games left to flip.

I got confirmation that starting January 5th is the Trade 3 get $15 bonus deal for Wii, 360 & PS3 @ GS/EB. This means it might be better to hold onto those 360 games as it brings some like Fear Files & Virtua Fighter up to $5 -> $12.70 rather than the $9.80 they get now. GTA 4 360 will be $7.50 -> $14.90 and the Ps3 version will be $7.50 -> $15.90.

I just hope the TIV's dont plummet before then. I also hope that BB does some huge re-stocks on sunday as the entire city has been pretty well picked over.

Two GS TIVs of concern:

Um, dude, BOTH of those were in the second post already. I even had Counter Force struck through. So, I changed SSG2 to be struck through (already had the $2 there from a while back). You need to read more carefully ;). I hope you aren't really looking at the OP (some people say OP when they mean SP). That list is not the one to use when shopping at BBV for GS flippables - look at the second post! Remember the list in the OP is supposed to be games that are a good deal at the price (for keeping and such) - the crap titles won't be listed there (so no Counter Force or Cocoto Racing, etc).

Wow, I would think you could fight that pretty easily. I'd imagine a GS ban would only come if they thought you were trading stolen stuff (which you can clear up with your receipts). I can guarantee you there is no way they will be unhappy with all the Wii trades we are bringing them. They desperately need more stock and if you can show it is legal stuff I'm sure they'd be happy. Unless the guy truly is a major ass ;).

Actually, with promos like this you actually had to pair up the games in question. It wasn't like the 10/20/30% deal. So, with the trade 2 get $10, you had to have a multiple of 2. With the trade 3 get $15, you'll have to have a multiple of 3.

I traded several games to GS today, I have com to find out that most GS stores do not care how many copies of a single Wii title you trade in because they can't keep them on the shelves. The worker that I traded with today was one of the jerky ones. he charged a refurb fee on one copy of Ninja reflex($2.00 on a $5.00 trade!!) and told me that I could only get the 5+ at the store that day and wouldnt let me do the 10/20/30 for the PS2 games I traded in even in another transaction, so I shamefully traded in my copy of Guitar Hero 80's for only 7.xx(that is the only one I didnt get more than I paid). The good news is that I picked up 2 copies of SCT3 and traded them back to BBV and got my BBV credit back for all the games I traded today.

The BBV I went to had some jerk employee working that told me that SCT3 wasnt in the system, so I tlod him that a worker had looked up a game for me once before and that it worked, he tried it for Smash Court and then told me he wouldnt accept it. I told him I would just take my business to antoher BBV and he changed his mind and let me trade.

P.S. It looked like another CAG was in that area though, all the good flipables were gone from BBV(I only got a few crappy ones) and they had several of the good GS->BBV slips in stock used.

Here's my logic. As long as the trade in value of Prince of Persia stays at $35, you can't economically argue that you should hold onto the game (if purchased during the B2G1Free Sale).

Using a B2G1Free, you essentially get PoP for about $21. That's a profit margin of $14. Even if you want to get it again later on, as long as you pick it up for under $35 that second time, the cost would be that minus the $14 profit you'd accumulated before, making anything under $35 for the second purchase even more worthwhile that keeping the first copy.

All that convoluted mess means is that if you can stand to wait on keeping a copy of PoP, then wait. B2G1Free + $35 PoP is a very good flip worth taking advantage of. If you have a decent backlog, wait it out. If you don't, then try the game first to see if you like it enough to keep it.

Now, if you just purchased it for the $35 Used? That's a tougher call because it's essentially an even flip, which you can perform with many things from Gamestop to BBV. In that case, you may just want to hold onto that PoP if you care about it at all.

Whether you decide to keep it right now or not, make sure to hold onto the bonus disc and extra packaging when trading it in. It serves no purpose for Blockbuster and it ensures that once you do get a copy of PoP, it'll still be the Limited Edition version.

Make sure to check the disc before taking it out of the store next time. Just tell the person that you want to make sure it's a good copy because you would rather not continue to waste your time.

If the condition of the discs doesn't look too bad, then I'm afraid there may be something faulty with your drive. I'm guessing you have a 360, since those are more prone to disc read errors and DVDs are much less durable than Blurays.

Uh oh, looks like they finally caught on! Too bad I didn't buy 80 copies when I had the chance. The 2 per household limit is automatically applied when you try to update your cart. They just changed Wii Sports to be 2 per household sometime within the last 3 hours (I bought 10 more copies around 9 EST).

I think the problem with ordering online is that cases can be hit or miss, and the shipping might take too long and they might not remain viable flips. I guess it depends if you can get FREESHIP to work or not for the overnight.

Try to add some really high amount to your cart and it will reduce it down to the amount of remaining games.

When I went in, they pointed to the bin and Bioshock was in the b1g1 free bin, even with a tag of 19.99, where as I found Mass Effect wasnt in there, but over on the shelf for 14.99...I could've tried to get Mass Effect in the deal or something but they seemed cranky in there lol. i believe 1st post is a general "cheap" games that are sold new or used at blockbuster along with a list of games that are 9.99 at blockbuster to maybe keep and play

2nd post is games that you buy from gs to bbv in the first half (360, PS3, Wii) and then after that first 3 list its games from bbv to gs

3rd post is trade in values at bbv

so for your example oblivion is 27 at gs and it trade into 35 at bbv

i dont have any GR around me but i still flip so to answer your question too yes regular stand alone blockbusters take trade ins for games. but trade in values may be different (or wont even allow trades at all) if it is a franchised store and not a corporate owned one but you won't really know unless u go there

If something is way off (like GTA marked at $29.99) then I'll use the "I saw this marked differently at another store..." line since the employees that know me by name know that I frequent several different stores. If it's like a $5 dollar drop or something (and not a B1G1 sale) then I'll act surprised when it comes up a different price.

Well, it turns out I must have just picked the 4 utterly worst BBVs to go to on Saturday as today I hit up 2 more and was able to find some decent stuff. Nothing spectacular, but at least a few Wii games that will be 2x trades at GS. I saw TONS more GTA IV - lots of 360 copies and probably 8 more PS3 copies. Mass Effect seems to be much more limited though I did pick up 2. I'm not really sure why, as I already have the game and it doesn't trade for much. At the same time I passed on an Advance Wars Days of Ruin which was probably stupid because there is actually the potential to play that with one of my kids some day and it would be nice to have a second copy for that (and is probably worth more if I ever want to sell it too). I guess I just felt like Mass Effect for $7.50 was too good to pass up given that I got it for near full retail when it came out :lol:. I may give one to a friend of mine. I also grabbed Shrek the Third to give him for his kid. I don't even know him that well (our kids go to school together) but I was stretching for reasons to buy these things...

I did take 9 Wii games I got over the last few days into GS and got a cool $100 (exactly!) for them. Nothing new (TIVs reported in the GS thread in case anyone is interested). Anyway, I turned $48.50 of BBV credit into a new Dual Shock 3 (so we can do 3-player LBP ;)) and $45 left over in GS credit - not bad at all.

I did finally see (and buy) my first copy of MLB 2K8 for the Wii. That will go in my next group. I did get a somewhat joking question from the BBV clerk asking if I planned on trading these right back in again (she meant to BBV since with the B1G1 you could probably make money that way). I said no way ('tis forbidden as per my OP). I didn't tell her most of them were going to Gamestop though - none of her business ;).

I added to my PS3 game collection with an Untold Legends for $9.99. It was tagged $14.99 but I had a hunch and was right - that made all the difference as I needed another $9.99 game to make my pairs. I also got a Wii DBZ BT 3 for $9.99 though that was a mistag (was really $14.99) - I'm pretty sure that was one of my trades from before. However, I have yet to see any of the FF:RoSS I traded in - they've all been sold I guess.

I also picked up 4 games at a HWV on the way home. But, man, their games are such utter crap compared to these mostly spotless (not to mention complete) BBV games that I probably won't bother too much more even checking there (plus I'm nearly out of GC credit despite price matching an End Wars there today). But at least that gives me a pile to qualify for the tiered offer and I can throw in a GTA 360/PS3 pair to go with them - just in case the TIV drops on that before the next alleged deal starts.

Yeah, I HATE it when this happens. I picked up a Simpsons Game last week that was still marked $44.99. I brought it up to the register and said "Could you check the price on this for me? One of my friends in (insert state) said he got it for cheaper, and I want to see if he's a liar."

When it rang up $14.99 the poor cashier just looked completely bewildered. She started saying "Wow, I don't know why it has a $44.99 sticker on it..." The best I could come up with was "Well, I'm sure keeping up with all the price drops and specials is nearly impossible this time of year. It must have just gotten overlooked."

Yes, sometimes you gotta just go for it! I had a wild west-style showdown with a CSR yesterday. She swore up and down that GTA IV for the PS3 wasn't part of the sale, as it was tagged at $29.99. I tried the old "well my buddy said he got it for $15" but she wouldn't budge. I then called her bluff on the stonewall attempts and told her that I would pay $30 and to go ahead and ring it up.

The look of confusion and disappointment on her face was priceless when it came up $14.99..."I guess it does qualify for the sale." I'm sure all of her friends or fellow employees swooped in to grab the rest shortly thereafter (they had 10+ copies).

Man just came from form BBV and it was a big bust (and typically I like big busts ;)) There was barely anything left for 360, Ps3, and Wii that qualified for the deal. I guess I could have picked up MBL 2k8 and GTA IV as a set but I need multiples of 3 for this deal. Also I didin't want to rebuy stuff I had bought already at that store for fear of suspicion. Untill I can come across some good cash flips or they drop price on more games I'm kinda stuck at a stand still. I guess I'll jsut dump my GS credit into Street Fighter IV and a fightstick and pretty much start over flipping from square 1 when I find a profitble deal.

They will still sell you the games under a generic account (also known as non-member account), so keep the receipt in case you need to exchange your game, and they wont be able to know for certain how many of any game you purchased. As for seeing if they scan $14.99, I have to wait till I go to the one of the others. Because the one closest to me will only sell them for the price on the case. I know I bought WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 2008 from them last month and the manager made the employee ring it up $1 more than what it scanned($14.99 price tag, was ringing up $13.99).
