Off topic to any specific deals right now, but just curious about the other flippers and their accounting methods. Do you guys save receipts for games you've bought and traded? I've been doing this since about September, figuring that with the volume of games I've bought and traded that red flags could be raised somewhere at some point. Am I paranoid, or do you guys keep your receipts for records too?

I save all my receipts for everything game related that I've bought, including just things for myself. I keep them in chronoligical order, and when the pile gets too big, I stick them in a ziplock bag. I keep an excel spreadsheet logging everything I've bought and sold/traded. It keeps track of the total amount I've traded in at Blockbuster, total profit, profit for each individual game, how much cash I've put in, how much cash and credit I've gotten back, all my credit totals on different cards, and how much I've purchased broken down by system, payment method, and store I bought it from.

Of course, my sheet only dates back to June 13th, which is when I first flipped a game. It's already over 1500 rows :lol:

In my Excel spreadsheet, I have Total Profit, Total Profit Per Transaction (I cheat sometimes when it's a huge flip and just input the totals), Total Edge Savings, Total Games Kept, Average Selling Price of Games Kept, Total Savings (Total Average Selling Price - Total Cost), Net Cash/Credit Spent, Average Cost Per Game Kept, Other Deals/Giveaways Related to Gaming, Credit Totals Per Card per Store, Current Pre-order List, Current Wishlist, Pennied Out Guides, List of Games Accumulated Since Flipping.

I started mine back in June or so. The only issue I have with my system is that it doesn't distinguish between cash/credit flips, but I can easily determine this with some simple math.

That may be the price for the charging dock. The DVR dock recently dropped to $59.99. And yes, that is what you would need to use your Archos as a DVR.
Maybe my store had the wrong price sticker, but it said 24.99 for the DVR dock.

That's a sick price for the Archos DVR dock, if it's true. I know that right before X-mas I paid $69.99 (I believe) and I have heard of it going down around $59.99, but $25 is insane! I would double check just to be sure, though, because at one BBV I did see a more basic docking station (charges the unit, connect to TV, etc...just no DVR functions) for less; just can't remember how much.


And you guys with the Excel sheets, etc...that's awesome! I am a super-organized over-analyzer myself sometimes, so I'm gonna have to probably get on board with what you guys are doing.

My organization method is pretty simple now, unfortunately. I have a little pile on my desk of current reciepts; I let the pile build for a week or two (or just a few days if I go on a flipping frenzy), then organize them into BBV, GS, and other (usually cash flips from Target, BB, or elsewhere). I staple them together chronologically and have a folder for each store.

Not the most complex thing in the world, and it surely can't tell me profit margins, etc... but it's very helpful when I go out flipping all day. At a quick glance I can look back at each BBV I go to and see what I've traded there, so I don't go overboard with trading a certain title in too many times.

As many of you probably know, once you start getting into this hobby pretty hardcore, all of those games and stores can start to run together!

Good news is 130 GS credit to BBV and Back netted me 240 so its still a good time to flip.

I could have been looking for new employment during the break. Bioshock, Prince and Persia, Bully, and GTA 4 will probably end up on eBay as opposed to becoming GS credit.

So now should I either halt my flipping or try and hit it with a vengeance to try and build up credit toward DS Lites and Wii fits. Don't know what to do. This economy sucks.

Crap, I'll probably have to drop down my Steet Fighter IV pre-order to the regular edition and forget about that Fightstick too.

Mostly it started because I wanted to know how much profit I was actually making, but it's become very helpful for keeping track of all my purchases. I also keep one for all my penny guides and guide trades, and one with all my games and their condition (missing manual, missing cover art, etc.) and my backlog. I have a lot since I've started flipping, so this is kind of necessary.

Sorry to hear that, man. The restaurant I had been running for 3 years closed this past March (also my GF lost her job in radio, as well); and I don't want to be a downer, but it's been a tough time for me to recover from that (the economy and gas prices this summer sure didn't help).

But it's a new year, and our country is about to embark on a bold path for positive change, so maybe a change will be a good thing for you, as well. It took awhile, but I'm back on my feet again, just working hard and trying to build things back up.

Maybe this will give you an opportunity to step up your flipping in the meantime. As you mentioned, if you can find a Wii or Wii Fit, that's always a quick easy way to turn a little credit into cash. I was dealing a lot with CL right before X-mas, and I've found it a lot more convenient that eBay.

I'd be more concerned about this, and I am concerned no doubt, but I'm also a loser living in my parents basement so I'll be insulated from an immediate and devestating financial hit. I'll earmark out money for my car payment and bills and go back into ultra cheap mode like I did in the interim between college and getting firmly hired at my now previous job (had worked there on as needed basis since high school).

Flipping my credit back to BBV would seem to be the best way to earn enough for some crash flippables. Now the GameStops around here just have to get stuff worth flipping. Yep only at the one you pre-ordered at.

Don't hesitate to put that credit towards some cash flippables, though. You never know what kinda deals will pop up for SF4 between now and release.

True, the only thing I've flipped to a BBV that I still see hanging around Eye of Judgment. I'm pretty sure it's mine because I traded in the mat, cards, and camera stand with it (it was the first thing I traded in to BBV) and the one in the bin has a mat tightly folded up with it. What they did with the cards and camera stand I will probably never know.

Really? That's funny because my buddy and I made a little run last night to like 4 BBV's. We were cracking up at almost every store because we would at least see 1 Legendary, or Monster Jam.

one store had a pitiful lone copy of Legendary sitting on a typical display rack, about 4 ft. tall by however wide, and it as the ONLY game there! It looked so lonely.

Then at another store, an entire endcap was devoted to some very familiar titles: EndWar, Infinite Undiscovery, Oblivion, Far Cry 2, PoP, etc.! We got a good chuckle out of that one.:lol:

Also, the douche from corporate responded to my BBB complaint and said he explained to me that I could be banned at any time. He also said my rental priveleges are not on ban and I am welcome to use them. I LOLed when I read that part.

So, I expressed my concern that if I rented too many movies or games that I could be banned at BBV since apparently I am banned for no reason for trading in games.

Snagged Okami Wii and Ninja Reflex. Okami was indeed $14.99.

Unfortunately, I did this without realizing the Extra $5 for Wii Games ended. I traded in Ninja Reflex, but held on to Okami. Fortunately, I can still make a few bucks profit selling it on ebay, so it's not a loss.

I want to build up credit with GS, but I've driven around so much in the past week. I've been to like every BBV and GS in the area like 4 times each (and there are a lot of both stores in the north burbs of chicago :lol: ) Time to actually play some games and enjoy my break before work starts. :)

If you have credit built it's a no brainer. This thing plays videos, music, photos, etc. It looks nice, big screen, touch screen - if you buy the plug ins - 40 on ebay you get an internet browser you can use over wifi (opera) - with the DVR it will load up shows and you can also watch on a tv I believe to make it bigger - it's like a better ipod touch to me.

They have other newer gadgets - with cameras, gps, etc - but this one is fine for what I need.

As for AE - that was American Express - the Dallas stores did a pilot deal on the 30GB earlier and they were 99 and boxed with a 25 dollar AE card so lowered price even more - use that for the dock and get 40 for widgets and then it's 140 for a pretty sweet touch screen mp3/video player/computer internet thing.

It also lacks the protection of the ipods I think and will work with some of the online video rental services (BB and cinema now I think).

I'm pretty loaded on GS credit right now, Blockbuster is low.
Maybe if we get a good coupon this Friday, I can convince myself.

Also, when I picked up Okami a few minutes ago, I saw the actual DVR dock. It's in a big box and was marked 59.99. The other thing I saw must have been the one that just hooks the unit up to the TV?

Also, it says the TV program guide is only free for a year. Any idea what the fee is? Do you have to use the program guide to use it as a DVR? I'd only pick up the DVR dock if I could use it as a free DVR forever.

what would i need to buy extra in order to get wi-fi and to be able to watch tv shows and dvr? if i buy the dvr adapter do i still need to buy a docking station? i tried doing a little research but i'm still unsure.

Thanks for clearing that up - I was about to go out and look for the DVR station, but 59.99 is no deal - I think the battery charger 25 is regular price for it - I assume that even without the service for TV you could set it on time record like an old VCR?

I have no idea, but you could try asking him nicely. I know that may be a pain to do, but just explain to him that you just need to know why you are being banned and the answers he is giving you are too "vague" and if he is unwilling to assist with the situation or if he "doesn't have the authority" (this may get under his skin a little), then maybe you need to talk to his higher up. Just remember to keep calm and let him know that everything you purchased was all legitimate and that you can provide receipts if he is calling you a thief.

Also, ask him where on the trade-in agreement (that you signed) says there is a limit to what you can trade in?

I've treated everyone at Blockbuster with respect. I don't plan on blowing up on anyone. I don't see why I would. The trade agreement does indeed say they can ban anyone for any reason. I would just like to know why.

I see no problem with going through with the necessary appeals with the BBB and trying to go through the chain of command at Blockbuster. My right as a consumer, and I'm pretty sure this won't ruin trading for the rest of you.

I bought mine at the BBV in Dallas at Frankford and Tollway - there were one or two locations in addition that people said had the deal - but I would call ahead and ask if they still have the deal - I've heard some people say they raised the price and/or removed the GC from the deal.

Keep in mind if you sign up for things like this online they can be tracked to an IP address. I had some mail issues in the past and I was able to narrow the offender to a city and ISP in a few minutes. Obviously, that doesn't identify you, but if a person pressed charges then it is possible to learn who did this.

Back to BB related. I went from at least one Eternal Sonata in every store to NONE at my three closest stores. I didn't get a chance to go any further yesterday, but I'll be looking for a copy of that today and tomorrow.

Thinking about getting Bully for the 360 as well, but I have it for the Wii (haven't played it on either) which one should I play?

I might be heading to a BBV tonight where I know I saw Eternal Sonata a few days ago. I'll pick it up for you if it's still there. I played Bully on the 360 for the cheese - did it on two (free) rentals. It is a fun game - I'd go for 360 because of the achievements but I'm not sure what is different in the Wii version.

I save all my receipts for everything game related that I've bought, including just things for myself. I keep them in chronoligical order, and when the pile gets too big, I stick them in a ziplock bag. I keep an excel spreadsheet logging everything I've bought and sold/traded. It keeps track of the total amount I've traded in at Blockbuster, total profit, profit for each individual game, how much cash I've put in, how much cash and credit I've gotten back, all my credit totals on different cards, and how much I've purchased broken down by system, payment method, and store I bought it from.

Of course, my sheet only dates back to June 13th, which is when I first flipped a game. It's already over 1500 rows :lol:

In my Excel spreadsheet, I have Total Profit, Total Profit Per Transaction (I cheat sometimes when it's a huge flip and just input the totals), Total Edge Savings, Total Games Kept, Average Selling Price of Games Kept, Total Savings (Total Average Selling Price - Total Cost), Net Cash/Credit Spent, Average Cost Per Game Kept, Other Deals/Giveaways Related to Gaming, Credit Totals Per Card per Store, Current Pre-order List, Current Wishlist, Pennied Out Guides, List of Games Accumulated Since Flipping.

I started mine back in June or so. The only issue I have with my system is that it doesn't distinguish between cash/credit flips, but I can easily determine this with some simple math.

Wow - I've been doing the spreadsheet thing for a while but have nowhere near that much info on them. I'd really like to have it broken out by system, credit total per store, and all that stuff. At the very least I need to reconfigure mine so that I know the real cost of all this stuff. My cost is actually inflated because when I trade from BBV->GS or vice versa I calculate an estimated cash cost for the games I trade in based on my running trade-in profit percentage (which is around 33% for each store). So it looks like I'm doing a cheap cash flip on my spreadsheet when it is really all with credit. I started it this way, like, 3 years ago because I wasn't doing very many credit flips back then so it was just an easy way to account for how much the game actually cost me. But I need to revamp the whole thing and separate credit/cash flips. The problem is going back 2-3 years and figuring out which were which (especially when I mixed cash and credit flips together in the same trade!). It is fun looking at all this stuff, but I haven't found the time to deal with it in any more detail.

True, the only thing I've flipped to a BBV that I still see hanging around Eye of Judgment. I'm pretty sure it's mine because I traded in the mat, cards, and camera stand with it (it was the first thing I traded in to BBV) and the one in the bin has a mat tightly folded up with it. What they did with the cards and camera stand I will probably never know.

I still see many things, including my Oblvion GotY, Eye of Judgment, and just yesterday when looking through the PS3 games to see if they didn't mark the newest drops I noticed my Singstar bundle with a hand written sticker proclaiming "Includes microphones!".

You had me worried there for a minute that maybe they did amend it. But as luck would have it, I just signed a new trade agreement the other day at a store where I've traded at plenty before - but they looked up the wrong account for me and said it didn't have one. Being that they looked up my secondary account I just went with it (that one should have much less trading history).

It is on the back in the fine (and very light) print under "Trading Terms and Conditions":

9. Trades are limited to (a) two copies of the same DVD title per membership account per day and (b) two copies per game platform type of the same game software title per membership account per day. BLOCKBUSTER may further limit number of copies of a title and overall number of goods accepted in a trade transaction or from a member or authorized trader without advance notice, in its sole discretion.

I swear the "per membership account" part is new and wasn't there before, but I could be wrong. So, if you run around to multiple stores and trade 6 of the same game in one day you are violating the agreement. But I think for most of us that has been pretty rare if ever. Even where there's a great fiip like FF:RoSS it usually takes me a few days to trade in several copies simply because it means travelling all over the place to get to different stores anyway.

Of course the second part of that quote pretty much covers their asses for anything they choose to do to you. It is really kind of a scumbag statement if you ask me ;).

Limiting copies of a specific game or in one transaction is fine and dandy - they should do that if they get swamped with something and it would be a great way to limit unprofitable (for them) flips while not targeting any specific customer or accusing them of being a thief. It is the random-assed bannings that are unevenly applied and unfair IMO.

While your story has had more drama than most, with a ban, reinstatement, then corporate ban, this company has the right to protect their profits and not do business with you if they think that is the best outcome for their shareholders.

I'm not sure I agree with you when you say the company has nothing to loose. The BBB does represent their reputation, so most companies do try to maintain a clean slate. But BBV are certainly making up the rules as they go along. I have not started my complaint process yet, as I figured all the main players would be on vacation, distracted by the holidays, etc. But I don't plan on starting with BBB, as the softer approach may be more successful. But honestly I really doubt they will reverse their decision for anyone, unless they suspect theft and would be willing to be proved wrong.

If the DM's have no authority over the flag, I strongly doubt Corporate CS or even lost prevention will have anything to say about it. I am surprised fewer people were suspended as my 7-8 vanilla visa cards did not seem particularly excessive, but I'm sure within that week I was in the top 10 list of purchasers. I do wish I had been told that I couldn't buy them in the stores I bought them from, but i received nothing but green from the managers I bought them from.

I'm sitting on such a huge GS/GC credit right now I may just chalk this up to bad luck and move on. Luckily there are very few must have games in the pipeline in 2009 so my credit may very well last the year.

thanks to this tread I have boosted my PS3 library quite a bit. Since my 360 elite RROD'd me and I PRP'd it back to best buy for store credit.

1st trip out of town BB for Christmas picked up GTA4 for 360 and PS3
Then I traded recently purchesed 360 GTA and my copy madden 09 for a brand new price matched (Target 39.99) Madden 09 PS3 @ gamecrazy for .40 cents

2nd trip BB near my shop went out on a limp and dug around a bit and came away with sega rally revo and NBA 2k8......not the greatest on my part.

3rd trip BB spotted on the way home today picked up Condemed 2, kane and linch, DMC4, and NBA street homecourt.....decent deals IMO

So all together I got 7 (new to me) games and traded my used copy of madden 09 for a new PS3 copy for under 60 bucks.....

I, like many of you, really hope it doesn't end today. I went to 2 BBVs today. The first was one I'd never been in and they had no signage of the B1G1 up, but I didn't mind because they also had a very very crappy selection. The 2nd was where I picked up Godfather & Quake 4 last week, but they didn't really have anything today. I was about to pick up a couple PS3 GTA4's, but I am pretty broke so just decided to wait. I will probably have to check a couple tomorrow for Eternal Sonata. Even with a backlog big enough to last me several months, that's definately the right price.

Agreed. I've been saying the 12th all along.... because, well its right on *their* signage. I understand many stores have different signage, or none at all, but like I've said multiple times now.... I believe their printed marketing materials more than I do the run of the mill BBV employee. I've seen some incredibly blatant bullshit lies about everything from prices to inventory, etc from employees who were just clueless and/or too lazy to determine a solid answer to a question.

Hopefully I'll be able to combine the two to one complete copy, then trade the cart-only one.

I also got a bunch of other random games tonight for keepsies and started grabbing a bunch of stuff since a few stores today told me that tonight was the last night for the sale.

Actually, it was kind of weird. One ASM said that all current promotions were ending tonight on everything. He seemed kind of out of it; when I asked what he meant he simply replied, "Video games." After a moment, he mentioned that the B1G1 and the extra $5 on a $50 GC were both ending, etc.

So...I'm not sure what to think. Let's see what happens tomorrow, shall we?

Oh, and at GameStop -- apparently, the signage for the T3G10 deal is up and its suppsed to be live, but it isn't in the system yet so if a manager isn't on duty to override it and manually add $3.33 to each price (which ends up stacking with Edge to make it $11, yay), or if your clerk is an idiot and insists that its factored in already and/or didn't get the email that went out about it not being live in the system and needing overrides, you're SOL.

Anything that I had orphaned and unpaired from the 10/20/30 deal is going toward a PowerTrade for an extra 20% towards my RE5:SE pre-order.

Oh, one last note about GameStop -- the holiday stuff is half price, and DVD/BD/HD is now B1G2. I picked up Voltron v1 for $17.69 after Edge and got two other box sets for free, and grabbed the Mario Kart Wii ornaments for $2.49 each.

Whaaa? How could they have ANY Blu-Rays left after the deal they had a few months ago? I found out about that too late and there was nothing to buy except for a disc-only Spiderman 3 and it was the day after the deal ended (so it was back to $9.99).

As for the GS trade-in deal, it went active late this evening. I made one trade at 7:30 Pacific and got the override. Then I ate dinner and went to another store and they were prepared to add in the $10 manually when it worked on its own at 8:30 Pacific. I was kind of disappointed since the manual override would have meant an extra $1 at least (since Edge would stack with it).

I was able to buy 2 PS2 network adapters though, so that was good. Problem is, they look crappy and I have absolutely no way of testing them. I guess I put a money back guarantee in the auction as much as I hate having to do so ;).

Regarding the B1G1 end date and signage. Some people may be seeing "Jan 12th" on the marketing signage, but what is that? A xeroxed piece of paper? I've seen nothing but colored 8.5 x 11" (or smaller) pieces of paper taped on the B1G1 bins - none have had any dates. However, at the store I went to tonight they were reorganizing their entire game section and setting up a table in the midst of it with larger B1G1 signage (consisting of several 8.5 x 11" sheets stuck together ;)) just before closing tonight. I would assume that they think the sale continues for at least for another week.

I had to scrounge around on the floor where they had all the games stacked up while they reorganized. I found GTAIV for PS3 and Bully for the 360. I passed on Eternal Sonata because it didn't have a manual but probably should have gotten it as it is a pretty decent one for GS (I already have the game myself). Then they couldn't find any one of the 3 Wii games I brought up so I had to settle for Ratatouille for 360 and Genji for PS3 - so yeah, just the 4 games. They had other stuff like DMC4 for 360 and more Bioshock, lots of GTA IV for 360, etc... But since none of these with the exception of GTA IV for PS3 are even 2x flips I'm having a hard time justifying it. I also bought a $20 PSN card since I want to download some stuff and GS doesn't have them yet.

Then I did see two Prince of Persia for the 360 at GS but didn't have a 10% off coupon with me so I passed. Hopefully we get a 20% off 360 games coupon this week anyway. I am running really low on BBV credit now.

fitness coach doesn't sound too bad, and if its $30 before the bonus, that means you're trading two straight up for it, maybe making a little extra with Edge? not bad.

Or, don't forget that you might be able to trade in your two games for the $30 towards a game, then return it and just get the credit on your Edge card.

Hey io - I picked up Wii Music for the kids (boys 6 and 10) and we ended up taking it back. Sound quality was horrible and the music selection was iffy at best. Drums were impossible to learn. Other instruments were either way too simple or just more of the same. They advertise like 80 instruments, but there's only 3-4 different playing styles. That to me translates to 4 instruments with varying pitch. They actually have more fun with Guitar Hero World Tour freeplay and music composer. It's a $30 title tops, so save the GS credit.

One of the little used benefits of GS is the "Hey, if you don't like it just bring it back in a couple days and we'll get you something else" free-rental-type thing. For us, we were lucky to find a barely used Lego Batman and were very happy. :)

Someone saw a flier in store for it. I wish I had more credit left at BBV, since I know a store that has a Narnia (DS). I got Flash Focus the other day, but I'm not terribly interested in it, so I wouldn't have any qualms about trading it in for $10. I updated with bigger scans. First time using Photobucket to host pictures and first try they were way too big, then too small, hopefully now they will be just right:)
I'd grab about 6 of the Wii games if i can find 12 games at some Blockbusters. Even for if they were $14.99 titles, it would still be $14.99--$30 flip. Wife and kids were just asking for some new Wii games.

Jumper and Golden Compass(Wii) aren't eligible for this deal, but should work with the trade 3 get $10. Minimum was $1 TiV. So they'd be good to pair up with Alien Syndrome for a set of $6.99 games.

Yeah, I think that's a wise idea. The expression on the clerk's face would be priceless, but they'd probably think you were robbing them by walking out with $200 worth of stuff, by merely trading in a few $5 games. And there's always the chance they take the "this can't be right!" stance and start calling DM's. Even if you're playing by the rules, it's never good to point out how dumb they are. :)

YMMV - First of all, smudges are OK as they are cleanable. And I've been able to find near mint copies of just about everything I want. Granted, it is less likely with Bioshock and Mass Effect than with GTA IV because they weren't quite so overstocked with rental copies of those games vs GTA. Actually yesterday I looked at 3 copies of Bioshock and all were a bit iffy so I passed on it even for a GS flip (don't want any chance of a refurb fee when the profit isn't that high to begin with). Also, I had heard before that PS3 games (ie, blu-rays) were more durable but I didn't realize what a huge difference it makes till this sale. Nearly every PS3 game I've gotten from this sale has been mint once the fingerprints are wiped off. Kudos to Sony for making a medium that is conducive to used sales (and thus flipping). I'm sure that wasn't their intent though ;).

I seriously doubt you went the same time as me. My trade at 7:30 PM didn't work automatically while my trade at 8:30 PM did. Note that these times are Pacific, meaning if you are in Boston the deal went active around 11:00 PM your time. I don't think GS stores are open that late on a Monday after the holiday shopping season is over ;).

I went to a few BBVs and got some good B1G1 stuff. Ended up getting around $170 in GS credit.

One GS near me is a real douche about refurb fees. They charge refurb fees just for bringing in a game as disc-only, or if it's in a non-original case.

I asked them, do you charge less for games that are sold that way? They said.. NO.

What bullshit. Also some lie about sending the games back to corporate... yeah, right.

BBV is also treating me like I'm some criminal, even though I'm actually just buying things there now. The way that those stores are run makes no sense. How about bring your TIVs down a little more in line with what other people are giving and stop treating your customers like thieves? If they wouldn't leave a game's TIV at $35 for months on end assuming there's no price drop if they don't have one, this wouldn't be a problem!

That one is $14.99, so probably not good. Flash Focus is only $6.99. Narnia is $9.99. There isn't much else I've seen in any quantity. Looks like Skate City Heroes (Wii) and Quick Yoga Training (DS) are pretty good for keeping some of the bonus and possibly reselling the game on ebay/etc. They let you keep $10 and $5 of the bonus respectively if that's indeed how it works. They seem to be reselling for just a little under cost. Might have to call GS & BBV to see what the TIVs are just for comparison.

from gamestop with the trade 2 get $30 bonus on select Wii games.

It is a seperate promo at Gamestop: trade 2 Wii or DS games and get $30 or $20 off select NEW Wii or DS games. So you have to buy a specific title for it to work but stone says you get the TIV + the $30 or $20 credit, even on games that are only $19.99 or $29.99 or whatever.

I still want to make 100% sure he isn't getting overrides for this to work - because that way I could certainly see them adding the $30 or $20 in and getting it stacked with regular TIV. If it is automatic, though, this promo is golden ;). It is too bad there is very little left to get in terms of Wii or DS games from BBV though. I just traded one of my last 2 Wii games in last night with the trade 3 promo - only got $7.xx for DBZ BT 2 - would have definitely saved it for this had I known. I have a Bee Movie game left along with one extra copy of Flash Focus - so for both the DS and Wii promos I need another game of each type. I could toss in the Ninja Reflex I intended to keep - but that would be a shame as it is absolutely mint.

And I'm really mad with myself for passing up the slightly scratched Okami I looked at yesterday... Maybe I can still go back and get it - problem is that store is 20 miles away.

That has worked in the past, though I haven't done anything like that recently (there's been no need with all the great straight-up BBV->GS flips).

It is GOLDEN. No override was necessary, could only do one set per transaction.

I traded
Alien Syn and Samba De Amigo for a total of $39.90, Got Are you Smarter... and they gave me a refund of $9.91 on an edge card.
Then he rung up
Battle of Bands and Okami for a total of $43.20 and I got Rayman Tv Party and owed just $7.27.
I'll be picking up 3 more games on tomorrow :lol:

I really need to stop revisiting this thread. Looks like it's off to scope out some Blockbusters again tonight, although I'm pretty sure I already bought up most of the good Wii games back during the bonus $5 offer.
