I've been in the CT area this weekend, and stopped off at quite a few BB, most didn't get anything yet from what I could tell. 2 of them did get stuff, all in clear boxes, but they did the normal pricing on it. Like a GTA4 in the clear box was 14.99. It was all labeled from 2/11/09 so I'm pretty sure it was suppose to be the 9.99 deal. But there wasn't anything good in there besides that GTA4 which I have so I didn't bother to argue it.

I was able to pick up Cod4 and Devil May Cry 4 for the 360. Both were $9.99 and in clear boxes. I know Devil May Cry 4 normally goes for $14.99 used at Blockbuster with the original game case and all but my local store hasn't had a copy for some time. According to the manager, she thinks these disks are former rentals that were heavily scratched up and sent back to corporate to be resurfaced . These game disks are pretty scratch free when you buy them so for $9.99, it's not a bad deal at all.
If you want cases and instruction books, you can always buy them on Ebay. There's one seller that sells either the whole game box with instructions, or just the artwork insert alone. Cost for the artwork comes out to $6 (inclusive of shipping).

I simply told him, believe it or not, you guys are not the only place to buy and sell games. That shut him up pretty quickly.

But in general, they don't really seem to care. There are all kinds of idiots in my area that won't even take the BBV stickers off of the front of the case before they turned them in.

It's always funny to see a used game sitting on a GS shelf with a BBV price tag!

One of my friends works at one of the BBV's in the Portland,Vancouver area. He just says that the good games actually start disappearing before they put them up in the bins.

Man, I never realized how many Vncouver CAGs were around me! Anyway, to follow up on this "disappearing" thing, I was in a Vancouver BBV last night - they had a wire rack with some 9.99 360 and Wii disc only games. Mostly the usual suspects - Ninja Reflex, etc., with a couple of Ace Combat 6 and Sonci Riders. As the guy rang up the game my son picked out, he was chatting with another BBV employee (from another BBV in town):
"So, did you see these games?"
"No, why would I care about some crappy old games with no box?"
"There was some good stuff in there - I got Call of Duty 4 and some Wii stuff to trade in at Gamestop"

I traded in 7 games yesterday, all in the clear casing (sans stickers of course) and the employees didn't care at all. If they asked, I was just going to tell them that I bought a huge stack of cases cheap to store games, CDs, DVDs, etc in. I don't think any of the employees had any clue where they came from, so they didn't really care. I'd actually say it's a bit less suspicious than the black cases that have the huge BBV logo inside.

The only time I really care about the stickers is if I'm swaping out a black BBV case for a green 360 or white Wii case. It would seem weird to trade in a Nights in a Samba case. ;)

And yes, I've seen many of my former trades in GS in the BBV black cases with the BBV prices still on them. I wonder if they ever catch shit from parents wanting the lower BBV price when charged the higher GS price.

one gs i went to to trade a couple games in clear cases told me they dont take games without cover art at all. i told them i had done it and that half of the games they sell dont have them. he said those all came from another store and that their store doenst accept them. hmmm so half of the used games in their store came from another store.....i find that hard to believe.

the second gs tried to charge me $4 in refurb fees per game for missing cover art. he said they have trouble selling games without cover art and had to start charging a fee. needless to say i did not trade here.

i just took the games back home and printed covers for them. will try again tomorrow.

I hit up a few more tonight (Revere, Malden, Lynn). Malden received their batch, a bunch of crap though. Madden 07 for 9.99.... yeah...

Revere repriced all of their copies.

Lynn had a bunch, however, another CAG must have hit it before I could get there. All the good games were gone. It must be a CAG since I found 5 copies of Legendary, a few SingStars (One with Sears tags still on it!), and way too many Monster Jams to count.

About 4 years ago I had some movie trades refused at GS because they were in BB cases, supposedly because somebody was going around and... well, you know; no idea whether it was just that specific store's decision or whether it was corporate policy at that time. Since then, however, I've seen a few BB cases in the used games section here and there (ocasionally still with a sticker or some othe reference to BB still on them.) But personally, just to avoid any potential hassle, I just use plain cases when trading to them rather than risk any inconvenience. (But the good thing was that after having the aformentioned movies rejected by FYE because there was a sticker on the case covering the barcode (:wall:), I was forced into opening a Blockbuster account as a last resort, thereby discovering their superior trade-in values!:D)

I think in the current atmosphere it's best to give Blockbuster the impression that you do most, if not exclusively all, your current business with them. Given the inordinate amount of trips each of us make there in a given week, it's probably not that far-fetched to assume that a number of employees there might actually consider that the case (I mean, who has the fuck -ing time to go to both Gamestop and Blockbuster during the week anyway!) But seriously, the more any potential junior-detectives assume that you're just simply recycling all your previous Blockbuster purchases, the less likely they'll be of accusing you of getting your games through... less-savory means. And of course, as potential junior detectives, if they think you're doing all your business with them they couldn't DARE risk making themselves look like failures by accusing you of selling games stolen on their turf!

Anyway, was finally able to make the rounds today and see what was available. Checked my closest BB and they finally had some clearance games out (they had nothing wednesday.) None of the high-end games there, unfortunately; just a few average 360 and Wii titles.

Then I hit Sears and managed to score a $4.97 PS3 Dynasty Warriors: Gundam and a $4.97 Tenchu Z (360). From there I went to an outlying BB that typically isn't hit-up as often when it comes to clearence stuff. Went to trade:

Dynasty Warriors: Gundam (Ps3): $15
Tenchu Z (360): $6 (Decided to keep this one...)

In terms of their clearence games, not a real great difference between the 360\Wii titles at the other store. I can pretty much guarantee you that they're going to need a B1G1 to get rid of most of these. I mean, who's going to buy an instructionless copy of DOA4 or Bulletwitch for $10, especially when they had a complete Bulletwitch for $6.99 sitting in the used section!!! That being said, I did pick up a no-frills copy of Battle for Middle Earth II, mainly because it's a title I haven't seen at all since that "perfect storm" so many ages ago. Picked up some movies, but decided to pass on a $3.99 copy of the first season of Veronica Mars (the only TV season box-set I'd seen between the two stores)... not sure if that was a wise decision and what the consensus would say about that. Decided to pass up a visit to the 3rd BB location open to me in the search for clearance titles since the inventory in the other two stores was so similar.

Curiously, I didn't see any Xbox\Ps2 titles in the relatively small clearance sections of those two stores (both of witch no longer carry any original x-box titles). I was wondering if those of you who've been finding original x-box titles in these sections were doing so at stores that were\are still selling them used, and were these also restricted to copies in a clear case with no artwork. The only store I didn't go to today was the one remaining one in my area that still has a small selection of used x-box games, so I'm still wondering what the chances are that they'd have any on clearance.

Around here, the BBV break up the TV sets into disks, so I would need to buy 3 or 4 disks to make up a whole season. Its not bad, but dropping 12-16 dollars +tax on a season would depend on which one I guess. A series such as Veronica Mars for instance, I've seen a few episodes, would gladly jump on it at 3.99 but would need to rethink if its up to 12-16.

Not at all - nothing I've ever done with respect to trade-ins is "wrong", however, the junior detective lurking inside any retail employee may see things differently and there's no point doing anything to bring that out. Also, it doesn't do any of us any good collectively to flaunt this flipping stuff. I mean, who knows, maybe BBV took notice of all the GS stickers on game trade-ins and that's why they nerfed their trade-in program? Do I really think it happened that way? No, but it doesn't help to leave them on trading either way when it is so easy to remove them (especially, as I said before, given the BBV stickers come right off).

Yeah, basically. No, it doesn't really matter and I'm not going to bring it up again, but it was always sort of an unspoken rule around here - along with not bringing in sealed games for trade. It really just seems like common sense to me.

So, anyway, went out for a while today and was pretty much disappointed. It started off bad with the Strikers being gone from my local store :cry:.

My plan was to venture further from home and try to stick to the one district that seemed to have gotten shipments of these games. I called ahead of time and it seemed every store except for 1 got a shipment and they were all 360 games plus a few got some last-gen stuff. Not a single store in this district except my local store got Wii stuff (and that was all they got). Very strange. To contrast, the next district over seems not to have gotten any shipments (yet).

I also accidentally discovered a 3rd district in my area - had no idea there was another so close. They also had the 360 stuff but nothing else. Of course, most of these stores probably had this stuff out since at least Thurs or Fri, so I found nothing decent except for a Beautiful Katamari. I saw GTA IV, Guitar Hero III, Mass Effect, DOA 4, Beowulf, PGR 4, Forza 2, and lots of other stuff like that - stuff that as nietzsche74 said, they will need a B1G1 to get rid of.

Only one store had anything besides 360 stuff: Xbox and something I've not seen reported here at all, GAMECUBE games. Like the Xbox ones they were $2.99. Man, I wish I had hit this store earlier because who knows what gems they had there. As it was, I just picked up a Battalion Wars since $2.99 was just too hard to pass up. I also got a Star Wars Battlefront II for Xbox there, so the trip wasn't a total waste. This store ALSO seems to have converted most of their GC rentals to used sales (but complete and at different prices). I've never seen so many GC games for sale at a regular BBV before. There wasn't anything too great, but perhaps some stuff I'd pick up during a B1G1 like Metroid Prime 2.

I also snuck into a GS right before closing and traded my last 2 Wii games: Mario Galaxy and Mario & Sonic. I got $54.50 for those after some initial confusion. Be careful of this if you do find a Mario & Sonic: at first it came up with a TiV of $11 and the bonus didn't apply. I thought GS cut the value of that considerably and disqualified it for some reason (like they did with Mario Kart). But Mario & Sonic is actually pictured on the damn coupon. Eventually the guy figured out he picked Mario & Sonic for the DS! So, once he corrected that I got the expected $17 + bonus - that was a relief! So, all told I traded 4 games purchased for $39.96 at BBV and got $104 at GS. Very nice - I could only imagine what it could have been if they had sent the Wii games out to a few more places though! As it was, I passed up buying at least 2 other Mario Galaxies, 2 other Mario & Sonic, and a couple of Strikers just at the 2 stores where I did see them. D'oh!

Anyway, I will keep calling the stores that haven't received shipments yet and see if they come in tomorrow (unlikely - could be via UPS though) or Tues (way more likely).

one gs i went to to trade a couple games in clear cases told me they dont take games without cover art at all. i told them i had done it and that half of the games they sell dont have them. he said those all came from another store and that their store doenst accept them. hmmm so half of the used games in their store came from another store.....i find that hard to believe.

the second gs tried to charge me $4 in refurb fees per game for missing cover art. he said they have trouble selling games without cover art and had to start charging a fee. needless to say i did not trade here.

i just took the games back home and printed covers for them. will try again tomorrow.

The only Wii games from the Presidents sale that are 9.99 are the ones that are in clear cases that have the generic prepack UPC codes . If the little blockbuster UPC code has the title name in it... Most likely it will not be 9.99 but will the regular pre-owned price.

I've been to 6 stores over the past couple days, only two had the $9.99 sale games, and all I managed to get was Mario Strikers Charged.

Also, I'm a moron..... I bought a $12.99 2 GB SD micro card for my Sony Ericsson cell phone only to find out that A) its not even that great of a price and B) I was completely overlooking the fact that the phone uses *memory stick* micro. Duh. My dumbass already tore the packaging open too. Oh well, its got a normal SD-sized adapter, so I can at least use it in my camera and stuff.

Except for every case there was a hand-written sheet of paper inside the clear plastic case that had the game's name written on it as well as their normal used price. They were also mixed in with all of the other games.

Dialog went something like this:

Me: Do you have any of the games that are part of the president's day sale?

Him: Yes, they are mixed in with the used games

Me: I saw those. I've been to a couple of other BBs and they were $9.99 each

Him: That was a pricing error that we caught, they are price as marked.

Me: That's odd. I've been to several other stores and all had these clear case games and they were $9.99 for the 360 & Wii.

Him: We corrected the error before we put them out.


After further inspection they had repriced everything -- Ps2, xbox, everything they received was repriced to the gamerush prices.

If its the Xbox version, you can't trade it in to GS. PS2 version sells for $16.99, so might get you a few bucks.

Tried 3 BBVs over the weekend, and found prepack games at all of them, but only a significant number of them at one. Not surprisingly, that one is the only one that had anything good. Two copies of Mario & Sonic. I traded them to two different GSs today for base $17 each, and used the coupon and my edge card, which bumped it up to, I believe, $54.40 for both. I'll take it! Fortunately none of this was much out of the way. I may check the BBVs again later this week to see if they've gotten any more in.

All I know from talking to a few people at a few different stores is that they were expecting these shipments and didn't get them and thus are still expecting to get them this week. There's an entire district where I live that didn't seem to get anything yet, while at least 2 (and most likely a third) district did (though even in those districts a few stores didn't). Others have posted that even stores that got shipments are expecting additional shipments. I don't know anything about that but it has been reported by a few people. I just don't want anyone to give up completely and miss out on new stuff this week - at least give your closest store a call on Tues or Weds.

Clear plastic that's thinner than the regular cases. And the name of the game won't be on the sticker, just some generic stuff about missing cover art like it says in the OP.

Hopefully I can find a few good things to flip tomorrow.

When you purchased one, though, they pulled out the clear case from behind the counter. But one way or another you want to look for the "Prepack POG" labelling and the $9.99 pricing (though many normal used games are also $9.99). But, if you see SMG or CoD4 priced at $9.99 then it is definitely from this assortment of games regardless of how they present it.

I do an online search for nearest AMC theaters, and it pulls up Indianapolis. AWESOME. Classic Blockbuster, selling gift cards in districts that require a two hour drive to redeem!

I too had this happen the other day where the floor displays were the regular black BBV box with a paper cover. Then they had the games in the back unsorted, so it took the guy about 10 minutes to find 2 games which just shows the lack of organization at these stores. Other locations I went to had the clear cases on the shelf with the security strip, which makes so much more sense so the employees are digging through piles to find a title.

I've found a total of 3 Mario & Sonic Olympics, which are pretty good flips to GS ($9.99 --> $27.20 with Edge/coupon). I haven't found anything else remotely interesting, but I'm doing this for flips and buy the games I want when they are used.

Not a very big selecion of clearance games and, get this: they were mixed in with the clearance dvds in a single one of those shelf-stands! Since this is the only remaining area store that still carried original x-box titles I was hoping for a bunch of those on clearance but... most of what they had were tagged $4.99+ and didn't seem to be part of the sale (nothing good there, anyway). Ended up getting Iron man for $10 (which has got to be better than Tenchu Z...). Only other things of note they had were a copy of Bully and a few copies of R6 Vegas 2.) Tomorrow is definitely D-Day for whether or not LI stores will get them or not. I don't know which location I'm going to tomorrow (maybe commack, huntington, huntington sta) but if you go, let me know if you find anything, and I will do the same. Remember call beforehand and go in the afternoon. If you are taking a bike, be careful, weather is supposed to be bad on LI tomorrow.

I went to blockbuster and all the games were 14.99 on clearance, no 9.99 games at all. There were no disc-only Wii games in sight. They did have a lot of clearance though and a lot of games were below 14.99 however those were mostly the PS2 and Gamecube ones, and other games from last gen.

I did see a copy of LOZ TP for Gamecube for only 9.99.


As for cases and manuals last week I purchased a copy of The World Ends With You from BB (a non gamerush location), it was only 19.99. They had it in the normal DS case but they had the cartridge in the drawer with the manual which they added after I brought the game up to the register. The BBV that I visit seems to keep all their games in the cases nicely, however another location I visited had every game in generic cases, so I imagine this would be a huge YMMV as to whether or not you will get the original case with your game.

D'oh! Stupid holiday had me thinking today was a Monday. Besides dropping into my local store where they had nothing new (and still have a bin with the same Wii games that were there Sunday) I completely forgot to call the stores that were still waiting on shipments. Oh well, I'll give 'em tomorrow too to get stuff in.

In fact, looking at my receipts it was last Wednesday that the only 2 stores in my entire area got Wii games in last week so tomorrow's the last shot, really, to take advantage of the mini perfect storm of this sale and the GS coupon.

I feel bad so few have been able to partake in it though. It was really feast-or-famine. It seems a few people cleaned up on Wii stuff for GS. As it was, I did OK, getting 4 games total and converting that into over $100 at GS. But I realy wasn't on the ball despite calling around and driving all over the place looking for these things. I passed up at least 2 more SMG, 2 Mario & Sonic, and a couple of Strikers. I could have done so much better ;). Note that was all at just 2 stores that happen to be the 2 closest to me. I could have cut out all that driving and time wasted going to the other stores and done just as well. All I got from the 10+ other stores I visited and hours upon hours of driving were these: 1 CoD 4, 1 GTA IV, 1 Beautiful Katamari, 1 Star Wars Battlefront II for Xbox, and 2 Battalion Wars for Gamecube (all disc-only of course). Even Halo 3, which was my highest want amongst the 360 games, I got from one of the 2 close stores. So I really, really, wish I had stopped at that point and saved all that precious time. But at least I know I didn't miss much out there. The Wii game shipments in particular seem very limited.

Well, it's a good thing for you I'm not a hoarder. I mainly stick to the Camarillo/TO area since that's where I work. My brother, who lives in Oxnard, is also a CAG but he sticks to the Port Hueneme/Oxnard area. He isn't a hoarder either, so hopefully there's plenty to go around for all of us. ;)

Wii MX vs ATV (clear case game) is a money maker, it fetches 10$ at GS, so 16$ after +30% coupon and edge. I've netted a good 200$ in profit from these clear case games. Blockbuster is still doing me proud :)

I just wanted to point out that with the GS 50% bonus coupon it is even worth looking into some of the BBV regular used game stock if you want to transfer any more credit from BBV to GS. For example, Super Mario Galaxy is $19.99 used (regular used stock that is usually complete as opposed to the special disc-only refurbs). That will get you $27.20 at GS with the coupon (good through this Thursday so act quick!). I hadn't seen any mention of that and wanted to make sure people were aware of this - especially as it seems many want to be over and done with their BBV credit for good with the demise of the TiVs.

Store #1: This is the one store in the district where every other store got a game shipment last week that hadn't gotten them yet and told me to call back this week to see as they were expecting them Tuesday or Weds. So today, of course, I get some guy who has no idea what I'm talking about and says they didn't get any shipment of any sort today and didn't get games like that yesterday either.

Store #2: So I figure I'll check the other district where it seems no stores got anything last week. I call one of the busiest stores in the district and the youngish girl who answers the phone has trouble even understanding what I'm asking about. "What is a 'disc-only game'?" she asks me after I run my standard line past her. :rofl:. Needless to say, I didn't get much info from her but it seems they didn't get anything either.

Store #3: Another very busy store in this district. This time the girl puts me on hold to call her store manager (wow, some actual competance there!). She comes back and says they didn't get anything yet.

I wasn't doing it to flip, I was looking for games for myself. If I would have found stuff to flip with the wii coupon i would have, but it wasn't one of my priorities. I seriously like my bbv credit for overpriced blu rays and framed art so I'm not trying to unload it.

I never left the house specifically trying to go to BBVs. I just went to them on my way to and from commuting to college and when I had to go to places like costco, target, the movies, etc.

I didn't even use a third of a tank of gas on this. Honestly I don't care about the gas and time. What I miss was the energy spent getting in and out of my car and trying to explain this deal to BBV employees. I appreciate your concern tho warner. thx.

Edit: also, now I have a very detailed mental inventory of which BBVs have the games I want for the next B1G1. Also, a bbv employee confirmed that there was a B1G1 coming up and another BBV employee told me that they're talking about having a deal for the 16.99 used blu rays to be 3 for $30. Both of these guys could be completely ill informed, but they are some of the best BBV employees in my area.

Edit #2: just remembered I saw for XBOX 360 GH2, GH3, and GH Aerosmith all marked 14.99. This might have been a franchise store, but any music game fan with a 360 should look for these during the next b1g1.

I wouldn't totally mind crappy TIVs in the GS range if they give cash tho... I could just put it towards clearance games for myself at Target.

Most of my BBV had got 360 and Ps2 games. I didn't come across any Wii games. I did only go yesterday though. So a lot of the clearance sections were picked over and it was really evident that the good titles were taken. One BBV I went to the guy was opening his shipment as I was walking in. I ended up getting 2 COD4's. I opened them up to check the discs and both of the holder of the cases were broken. One disc was cracked on the inside clear circle and the other one was chipped in the same spot. I decided I was going to try and trade them to GS anyway. The employee looked at them quickly and didn't even notice (huge relief). I guess since the discs had like no scratches he didn't even notice. I had my fists clinched as he went for the COD4 discs. I traded in 9 games and those were at the bottom of the pile. It also helped that right after he did my transaction his shift was over and he left. Funny thing was I got hit with a refurb fee on my Mario Kart Wii. The manager was right next to him also. I'm just glad the lady in the store didn't take my trade ins. The manager was helping her out and it probaly would of got noticed. I'm just glad I got those through and without any fees is just crazy lol. Just make sure to check the games you get from this BBV sale.

Damn Blockbuster pisses me off sometimes. Driving around today I heard that stupid "used DVDs and used games up to 70% off this weekend" nonsense commercial. Are they still pushing this "sale"? That would make you think more stuff got sent out but it doesn't appear so.

But even I am confused by this - what games were "up to 70% off"? Besides these very limited shipments of disc-only games, there is absolutely no sale, right? I mean, we aren't missing that all of a sudden some used games have been discounted up to 70%? I didn't think so, but that commercial bugs the hell out of me.

Are they talking about their normal used game prices and calling them "up to 70% off". In that case, off of what, original new MSRP? Or are they really talking about those disc-only things which many stores never even got?

I did look at it before posting, the only "good" in it is the fine print: Offer valid on movies and games labeled as previously viewed, but select titles may be excluded. Just to prove the vagueness of this whole "sale."

Yeah, that's my point. The whole sale was utter BS and just designed to get people to buy stuff they were selling for the same price as before. I guess there were some deals on the DVDs but I didn't even look at those. And then there were the rare disc-only games I guess which might count, sort of - though that wasn't a "discount taken at the register" either (and in fact some stores marked them UP!).

thx for the info on PnT. I agree with what you're saying about selling above MSRP. If my store does that, I won't buy anything from them unless i despirately need something for an old system. I wouldn't totally mind crappy TIVs in the GS range if they give cash tho... I could just put it towards clearance games for myself at Target.

Play n Trade is awful, but they'll also accept things you can no longer get rid of at a GS, like PSone games and memory cards. They even take imports as trade ins. For the most part the TIVs are awful, although I managed to get rid of both Burnout Paradise and Far Cry 2(PS3) for $42 about two weeks ago. That same combo at a GS or BB would've only gotten around $20 if that. I wound up buying Ultimate Genesis Collection and Killzone 2 from them (preorder/paid in full), but after this I'll probably be done with them.

I got a letter from them dated 2/1 stating the same thing; I read ALL the fine print (ensure you get an over 18 person to sign as a witness, though having it notarized is not necessary - at least on the affidavit I received) and got the affidavit filled out/sent the next day - sent it via certified mail with return receipt (they received it on 2/6) - made copies of ALL paperwork sent in (to include envelope where the affidavit was sent). I'm figuring if they're still trying to get rid of wii's in February (should have happenned in October - and taking to February is a long time considering they give each "winner" 5 days to get their affidavit back to them) a lot of people must be doing a lot of things wrong not to have received their wii's, or perhaps a lot of unupdated home addresses could be the culprit - end result, I was paranoid and took every precaution I could think of to ensure everything was returned to BB sweepstakes correctly and within the time allowed.

You may want to call and ask, as it varies by store. I had 4 stores around me. One got 360 games, two got Wii games, and one got Xbox/PS2 games. Some people reported no Wii games in their districts, so it varies. io explains a bit of it in the first post.

I, of course, get excited, so he opens the game shipment in front of me. Nothing but 360 and PS2. I'm starting to think Indianapolis got the shaft on this sale. At first, I thought everyone just beat me to the Wii games last weekend...but now I'm leaning more towards they were never shipped here.

Where are you getting copies of Legendary for less than $22? That is the last reported TIV, and it could have dropped since then.

Also, I know that BBV dropped their used price for Mercs 2 to $14.99 awhile ago...I doubt it garners that much as a trade, but who knows?

I'm travelling for work tomorrow. Someone mentioning Legendary reminded me to bring my BBV card and at least an empty Value Card. I may find a few out there (since they are impossible to find here) and trade them in at one of the stores that adds tax - at least that makes it somewhat worthwhile. I'd appreciate someone checking the TiV of that one. sgaldis - it is simply a $21.59 -> $22 flip, using the 10% off coupon and assuming you don't pay tax on the GS purchase. Nothing special, but it at least allows you to convert GS credit over to BBV in order to get good stuff for a potential B1G1.

Also, no new thread unless I have some time to kill while I'm out there. But most of my free time will probably be devoted to playing Dragon Quest V ;).

Stopped by the local BBV on Saturday and picked up a couple of Wii games for $9.99. I got Tony Hawk's Proving Ground and Metal Slug Anthology and both discs looked brand new, not a single scratch.

I couldn't believe how busy they were. There were tons of people in the store and most were digging through the bins of used games and movies. They had all the Wii, X360, PS3, and DS games in rubbermaid containers on a table and it made it hard to get at them (they were so close together and there were so many people). When I finally got to the Wii bin and started looking, some guy kept reaching in saying "excuse me", but I wouldn't move. I had my games in my hand and he reached in again saying "EXCUSE ME!". I stepped away with my games and told him that there wasn't shit left and he gave me a dirty look.

I saw him leave empty handed as I was checking out.

my local store won't take back kabooki for $16 because in their system the selling price is $14.99. Is there any work around on this?
