Winners thus far:
Cleaver - RE: Dead Aim (round 1)
Stealthy Seal - NOLF 2 (round 2)
Zewone - NOLF 2 (round 2)
Kaw - Roadkill and Enclave (Round 3)
Kaw - Bombastic (Round 4)
A lot of people had fun with round 3, and Kaw put a lot of blood, sweat, and tears into getting the answer. Kudos.
The fourth round of free game trivia is here. The first person to post a full correct answer will win a sealed copy of Bombastic for the PS2.
Question:
What do John Cusack, George Lazenby, Stephen Dorff, Keanu Reeves, and Denis Leary, have in common?
Full answer will include examples.
Now, I understand that this will likely result in several answers that qualify, but aren't exactly what I'm looking for. CAGers who provide answers that are really, really good, but aren't what I'm looking for will receive a consolation prize.
edit Emilio Eztevez, Minnie Driver, Gary Coleman, and Cuba Gooding Jr. also qualify.
Good luck.

Good answer - not what I'm looking for. There are quite a few other people that would fit into your answer. Angelina Jolie, Lohn Leguizamo, Eric Mabius, Dennis Hopper etc...
Another dude that could fit into my list is Gary Coleman.
All are/were actors! Sweet I'll PM you my address for the game!
Or,
Who are all people who have never been in my kitchen!

Hmm..politics? Either all been in a political movie or ran for office or has something to do with politcs. Am I getting warm? Just my guess since thats the most recent thing Gary Coleman has done.

Obviously they're all people who should have been included in video games but weren't.
Lazenby for example is the only Bond not selectable in goldeneye.

All Have Summer Birthdays! If this isn't the answer your looking for (probably not) I think its pretty good...
-John Cusack : June 28
-George Lazenby : Sept 5
-Stephen Dorff : July 29
-Keanu Reeves : Sept 2
-Dennis Leary (and me too) : August 18
But then Gary Coleman and Minnie Driver have winter bdays so it doesn't all quite factor into what you said earlier. Oh well I tried!

The answer doesn't have anything to do with politics or games.
Cuba Gooding Jr. could go on the list too.
The answer has to do with films they were in, and not anything about them personally.
my guess would be that they were all in a movie that had something to do with sports(baseball, football, tennis, etc)

George Lazenby- Return Of the Man From UNCLE
Stephen Dorff-Earthly Possessions
Keanu Reeves-Life Under Water
Denis Leary-The Second Civil War
Cuba Gooding Jr.-The Tuskegee Airmen
Minnie Driver-God on the Rocks
Gary Coleman-Like Father, Like Santa

Damn I thought I was almost on to something.. I found some ties between a bunch of them..not couldn't quite get one for ALL of them. I was reading up on it more as a brainteaser than for the game. But here is the closest I could come up with that they all have in common..only couldn't find one for Stephen Dorff but I swear he's done something!...Damn you Dorff!
I found all have done animated voice work (besides Dorff)
John Cusack - Anastasia
George Lazenby - Batman Beyond, Yu Yu Hakushu
Keanu Reeves - Anamatrix, Bill and Ted Animated Series
Denis Leary - Ice Age
Minnie Driver - South Park BL&U, Tarzan
Gary Coleman - Simpsons
Cuba Gooding Jr. - Home On the Range
Interestingly enough, several of those movies have video games in which the characters they voiced appeared (cept Coleman, maybe Cuba), which COULD factor in Stephen Dorff cause of Blade but I still think theres some correlation I'm definately missing. How bout a good effort conselation price :-)

just like contest number 3 - the answer relates to something that is very exclusive to the names listed. Lots of people have been in TV movies, movies based on games etc...
There are maybe a handful of other big names that could fit into this list.

I think what he meant was they starred in the original but were not involved in the sequel. Their part was taken over by another actor in most, possibly all cases (I haven't seen all the sequels, but I know Bond switched, and Speed 2: Die Hard on a Boat starred that other guy in Keanu's role).

Jeez Kaw, You're the MAN! That's two trivia contests in a row! Great work.
All I wanted was that each of the people were in a film with FNM on the soundtrack. FNM has only been featured on four film soundtracks - Fox Hunt, Grosse Pointe Blank, Judgement Night, and B & T's Bogus Journey. Each of those films was represented in the question.
I still have your contact info, and Bombastic will ship Saturday.
You've really gotta start giving other people a chance. How did you go about getting the answer?

Yeah I try to make questions with answers that someone can't directly find on the Internet, but that they can verify on the Internet. I realize that's a very subtle difference, but it makes the questions a bit more fun I think.

I'm really curious to hear how he went about getting the answer. Should be interesting.
Fox Hunt - Ricochet
Judgement Night - Another Body Murdered
Bill & Ted's BJ - The Perfect Crime
Grosse Point Blank - We Care a Lot
Good thing it was a slow day at work. :)
At first I thought the connection might have been Jeremy Piven, but after a little digging Piven was too broad of an answer, I knew it had to be something narrower.
With all the stars in Judgement Night I knew that had to be one of the common elements. GPB seemed to fit too since Driver and Cusack both starred in that flick. The only common element I could find with Gary Coleman was the Lazenby/Fox Hunt connection.
What did these three films then have in common? I knew that both GPB and Judgement Night had great movie soundtracks, but I never saw Fox Hunt. Once I started looking at the song titles I saw the Patton (Faith No More) connection to both Fox Hunt and Judgement Night. Keanu suddenly fit with the Bill & Ted's BJ connection and the Patton song on that soundtrack. I knew I had to be close. Looking at the band Faith No More, checking the credits for the first lead singer Chuck Mosley gave me the final link to GPB! Phew!
Good contest. This was even harder than the last one. Thanks for the game!

You certainly earned it, hard work always reaps rewards. I promise MVC 2 will show up as the prize to one of these contests sooner or later. I just have to think of an impossible question first.
Also, something about the way you said " Bill & Ted's BJ connection" kinda made me and my office mates laugh. Go figure.

The difference is that you just cant type all those actors name in Google and find a link that will give you the answer. You have to use your brain and use the internet as a resource for your mind, instead of using the internet to tell you the answer. Like if I asked 'Who hit the most home runs in MLB in 1949?' An obscure question until you give someone internet access and they find the answer in less than a minute.
The Confidental - Excellent questions. Im just now seeing your questions for the first time. Don't know if I will participate in future triva challenges, but it's nice to see you putting some serious thought into them <and being generous enough to have a reward>
